Michelle do you ever use a baby sling with Sam? I had one for DS2 - he wasa crank pot who needed holding 24/7 (is my most sweet natured still) so I found a sling (wilkinet) a god send.

Just having a break from the massive hotspot in DH office - doing well but it is some job! I'm going to do a bit of wet wiping in there now to stretch my back.

i have one - he doesn't mind it for short bits but prefers to look over my shoulder. can't moan as it isn't 24/7, just large stretches when tired or whinghy. i might invent a sling that holds him there;)

i've ordered myself a dress for 2/3 family functions this summer. shame its not in a lighter colour for a hot day, but the nicest one suitable for breastfeeding at a wedding

soappie sounds like it's worked out well for you, however I do find Tesco and ebay cheaper for cartridges etc.

Because I run myself as a limited company, I have a business account with Staples - the deals for businesses and bulk buying are extremely good:D

    AFternoon all

Denise - your work schedule looks punishing! Make sure you rest properly in the evenings and don't do too much - you'll burn out.

Snuck out of work early today. It was 'sports day' today so most of the department were out cheering the team on the other side of the site. Then my computer broke and there was no-one else around so I thought what the heck and left early. I've now got the washing machine on and am about to do the bathroom. Things need to be spic and span for the BBQ tomorrow evening. When I've done the bathroom, I'll do the hall and utility area and then nip next door for a G&T ;)

Michelle the dress is lovely. That reminds me, I'm off to a 1920s-1940s aviation themed ball later in the summer and I haven't got a clue what to where. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what styles to look for? I'm not as large as a barrage balloon but I'm not as slim as concorde (without the wings of course!)....

Well I made it there and back in one piece.

Got in multi storey ok, found space. Good thinks me in the corner. 28 manouvers later I'm in a space:rotfl: . Found passport office and that went fine. Had got myself in a real panic! They only wanted one proof of address so I was well and truely prepared. Poor woman next to be was trying to get passport for her kids but got her husband to sign the pics - was sent away (poor thing).

Couldnt find car when it came to leave and I think you only have 10 mins after paying to get out. Panic or what:eek: , still got out of there and then came off round about exit too early so headed out of town wrong direction. Had to double back and find right one but hey you know what I DID IT!! Am sure lots of people were swearing at me (no-one bibbed their horns though) so if you were in Peterborough today with a mad woman in a chugga boom skoda in front of you I am sorry.

My heart is pounding but cannot have a glass of wine yet as got to meet a nice lady who is giving me 2 booster seats to take over to spain with me. Need to get a box of roses or something for her too!

Damn, just remembered my washing is out on the line and it is throwing it down!!! arghh

Michelle - love the dress, could I have the body to go with it too please:D

:hello:Hello. Just caught up with the thread.

    - I'm so pleased the weekend list is optional. Optional I can do with ease.:D

Not going to post any flying today. So far behind with everything and too knackered. I'm just gonna have a well earned quite evening. Will be back tomorrow though. Always seem to be more productive of a Saturday, especially if the sun is shining.

Michelle that's really nice, I wish I had a figure for something like that, very feminine isn't it. Pigpen is right with the wrap type slings, my friend has one of these and it's wonderful for 'shoulder babies' http://www.mayawrap.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=100005&UnitCde=1&Desc=MamaBaby%20Sling&Search=N# she uses it when BF to cover up a little aswell. Her Mam lives in US so she sent it over, not sure what is in the UK similar or if they deliver here. **EDITS** Uk stockist list http://www.mayawrap.com/s_distributors.php#United%20Kingdom

soappie think I'd be tempted with the 1920's style, I remember going to a 1920's themed party, we all learned how to do the Charleston and it was great fun, I just did a quick search on google for 'charleston dress' because that's what the hire company we used called them, some great ones, we had the feathered hair pieces and hats, everything, definately a night I remember well.

Germish good luck to your SIL :D

Electra King 'dormouse syndrome' is the name I have given to the fact I can't stop falling asleep, anywhere, I have for weeks now felt tired 24/7, I have had bloods done and nothing naughty came back, I just can't stop falling asleep, hence the 'dormouse' bit (animals of course notorious for sleeping a lot - they sleep for over half of the year, sometimes a bit more)

MrsV wow that's quick, good luck!

hex I'm so boring, I'd do the bathroom :rotfl: saying that it's 11 years since I last went abroad and don't miss it at all, only ever been to Paris and Lanzarote so never really travelled, I prefer staying in this country.

shell, after a week we'll all be fed up of each other :rotfl: well done for getting through the parking in town, I still hate it now and do so only when I really really have to! As for the lady who got her partner to sign the form, there is a big piece on the forms which says they must not be in a personal relationship with you, live at the same address or related by birth or marriage. I didn't even risk getting DPs Dad to do mine (we're not married) The list of those who can sign it does make me giggle, the 'trustworthy proffesions' :rotfl: like Accountants, Journalists and Insurance agents.

Oh, that took some typing, erm, me, well I have done very little studying (due to tiredness and bad headache) I did go to collect DPs application forms and picked up the pet foods, filled the car with petrol, sorted/put away laundry, made meals, filled DW, groomed smeggit and not much else :o Oh I booked another holiday to go in the caravan to :D 4 nights in Harrogate £21 a night - which is shocking as before now I paid £25 a night for the dogs to be looked after!!! Going there straight after when we're away for DPs racing, I'll be driving back here on the Sunday late afternoon to drop all his RC car stuff, generator etc etc off and picking up the clothes for the 5 days while he packs the caravan up then going from there. We're going to have to be superbly organised to fit everything in that we're hoping to do :rotfl: I wonder if I can sneak another break in the week before, come back Thursday then go to his thing on the Friday, will save taking the caravan back to storage :rotfl: :rotfl: best work out the finances first :o

:o I'm getting quite close to a certain number of posts, hmmmm, maybe I chatter too much! Finishing my cuppa then been told I have to play with the train set, well not so much told but dragged and told 'sits', wish the table was big enough to put it on as the find it hilarious me trying to get off the floor after playtime.
One day I might be more organised...........
