Thank you to pigpen for putting up the list.

I've not kept up with the thread :o I'm not keeping up to much at the moment but logging on here is a little square of order in a very chaotic world.

HAVE to do DS room today - he keeps ripping the wallpaper off the wall nearest his playpen and shoving it up his nose. Other evidence shows that he has also eaten it - at least, that's what the nappy is telling me  I need to do a major reorganise and blitz.

I really don't feel like it, but hey...
    Always another chapter

Afternoon, just had lunch, I was famished and then onto the filing.

    List update in a minute.

Justamum DS2's results were awful at the end of year 4 - He had been a level 3 sats in everything in Yr 2 and all of a sudden his English was said to be Level 2  He had had a really bad time in Year 3 with bullying and I 'did a Pigpen' and went in and created merry hell and kept him at home until they moved him to another class. He also had a couple of really poor teachers (sorry teachers but these were a disgrace one once said when asked if homework had to be in neat 'I don't care if it is on the back of a cereal packet I'll still get paid). I expressed my concerns to the new teacher at the start of Year 5 and she was great. She closely monitored him, kept me updated and all was fine. With hindsight the tests were wrong and he was just where he should be and came out of Year 6 with all level 5s

    MUST.PRISE.SELF.AWAY.FROM.COMPUTER....:o

    Ditto :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The bank statement arrived this morning so I've done my monthly reconciliation. It's a bit easier this month as I'm being very strict about spending - we need to save up for some heating oil

I've also just ordered a violin for my DD1's birthday . It will save us money because we have to pay for violin hire (but the lessons are free at school). Hope she likes it - it's metallic pink :D

Right, off to empty out WM and TD and shove a load in each, then go round making sure everything looks reasonably ok for the weekend, then make pizza for tea.

    Hi ladies.

    Hope all is well today.

DH is working away all of today and tomorrow, back late tomorrow night, so i am not up to much and pacing myself to survive being the lone parent of 2 cranky boys.;) that probably won't wash with pigpen will it. DH forgot his overnight bag though, so not sure what he will do about that, as i don't know when he is travelling to birmingham.

it's not been too bad today. i took the boys to baby clinic to get sam weighed (now 13Ib131/2oz) - no wonder my arms ache. DS1 was a little treasure again, Sam cried most of the time, but the fresh air and exercise was good for me. It has since rained all morning so probably the best time to go.

ds1 was shattered, so i put him back in bed about 11:30 and he's still there. Will give him a big lunch when he wakes then something snacky later. DS2 finally settled with a dummy and a long hug, then very gently putting him down and backing away.

My plan i think is to watch a DVD tonight and do some clothes sorting. and i have already told DH that he can do bedtime/bathtime for ds1 on Sunday as he will have missed 5 by that point. At least tonights should be easy after an early nap. ;)

    Hi

    So far today i have

    Washed up
    Been to Toddlers
    Stripped all beds
    Load of washing in machine
Took all dry stuff off airers & put away
    Put away yesterdays ironing
Went back to Toddlers to meet the Book man cause he was late
    Had lunch
And thats it. I really should get off my bum and get my list done but i've run out of energy:rolleyes: .

No more mouse evidence so far i have ordered one of those sonic devices to see if that will help.

Michelle do you ever use a baby sling with Sam? I had one for DS2 - he wasa crank pot who needed holding 24/7 (is my most sweet natured still) so I found a sling (wilkinet) a god send.

Just having a break from the massive hotspot in DH office - doing well but it is some job! I'm going to do a bit of wet wiping in there now to stretch my back.
