As suspected the Scottish Power man turned up at 8.02am. However he couldnt change my meter as some halfwit has routed all my kitchen stuff through the wrong meter
So hubby will need to reroute all the kitchen stuff through the right meter before he can remove it. Grrr, things are never simple are they? Now just waiting in for my new mattress to be delivered:j (Nicki, dont know if you read my post ages ago about Littlewoods mattresses? They do interest free credit, so my new mattress is costing about £3.50 per week. Just mentioning it because i know you are looking for a new mattress;) )
Also waiting for the community nurse to come round and check LO's wound to see if its healing properly. She only needed painkillers twice yesterday which was good:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Morning All.
Gunsandbanjos - sounds like LO is on the mend. That's good news. How was the Fudge Cake?
I had a good start today. DS1 wet the bed (we've not long taken him out of pull ups at bedtime and this is only the 2nd time, he's a star really) and appeared in our room at 5:30ish. He was happy to snuggle down until around 6, while DS2 went mad running around and bouncing on the bed
Got up, stripped the boys beds, tidied their room and bunged the WM on. Had a bath. Then OH appeared saying that the bar in our shared wardrobe had fallen out and he would sort the clothes out later, so I finished my bath and sorted the clothes out. His later is generally anywhere between an hour and a year
When I got back downstairs I discovered that the boys had managed to get into the garden and manufacture an outstanding mudpie in the conservatory. After going up the wall and throwing them in the bath, I cleaned the conservatory floor, but WM on again, hung out the previous load and sat down with a coffee. And that's all I intend to do until this afternoon! I'll fly later after I've played with the boys for a while and, hopefully, worn them out.At least OH is out from under my feet as he's at work all day.

My list today includes doing the kitchen as I couldn't be bothered the other day:D. I've also got to change all the beds (I did ours as soon as I got up this morning so that's one out of the way). DD1 is excited because she is getting her new duvet cover on today. Other than that a general tidy round and vac so that it's presentable for the weekend.
We got our DS's school report yesterday with the grades for his assessments. The grades say he is performing below average, but the report says he's doing well. It sounds like they are for two completely different children. He was disappointed when we read it because I think he felt he'd done quite well this year. He says he finds the numeracy very easy, yet his assessment shows he's below average I]scratches head in puzzlement[/I. The teacher did say he's very polite and has been a pleasure to teach.

Morning all
One load of washing out on the line (dry so far).
I'll push the vacuum round in a minute when DH has gone to work but not much else going on. I've done most stuff this week but I'm sure I could do more if I looked.

Morning everyone, 2 kids up 1 still sleeping. The other kitchen man arrived last night as well as the builder so it will be 2-4 weeks before they get back to me, i don't think this building will be started until september at the earliest but at least the kids will be at school dueing the day.
Went to Lurgan yesterday and it was a real waiting about did manage to get DD some new clothes which she needed badly.
Bits of flying have been done this week but i have loads to catch up on today as well as lifting meds and stopping in a Mr T's.
Hope everyone has a great day and i'll be back later to update.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Right back from school run. Lost my motivation on the way
.
Gonna have to force myself into a HHC, put the music on and make a coffee.
Stepsister phoned last night after I texted her saying if she wanted to know what the will said Mum would rather she approach her. Apparently she only phoned the Spanish Solicitor to find out "what happened next", hello he has been cremated. So I said "oh, she told Mum you had asked for a copy of the will", answer "well, yes I did but that is not why I phoned". At first I was angry but now I am just disappointed, she obviously takes after her Mother 'cos Dad was nothing like that.
Sorry rant over and away to the HHC.
Denize - well done on the weight loss, though looking at your work schedule I dont you get time to eat!
GnB - Glad LO is on the mend. Brave little mite you have there.
Michelle - Glad to hear you sounding a bit brighter today. Focus on the positives and do whatever you need to to survive! You and LO's more important than a completed list of jobs.0 -
