Am so worried about this passport thing. I have got about 6 proofs of my id and DD1's birth certificate (not that they asked for it but better safe than sorry).
Lil_me - I know what you mean about the not missing the morning/after school rush. Some mornings its a real struggle especially if they have just started playing a game they really enjoy. I feel mean stopping their fun. Still I bet after a week they will be fed up of each other:rolleyes: .
Managed to get more done than I felt like so pleased with that. I must eat something before I drive later. Am thinking of parking in the multi storey carpark and walking over, never done one before - yikes again:eek: .
Right must have a loo trip before collecting little un! Think another cuppa would be a good idea too.0 -

(((shell))) - it'll be fine. If you are nervy, it's maybe worthwhile checking what id you need. I went to Peterborough for DDs passport a couple of years ago (It was the nearest one with an appointment! ) I couldnt believe that the Passport office dont except passports as idI took my driving license and copies of my electricity, gas, council tax, tv license bills

Washing in now (it poured with rain) but all dry except a pair of jeans.
Email went oh !!!!!! just as I was sending one with an attachment to DS so I don't know if it got there or not. Have to wait for him to get home and let me know.
Anything to do with computers stresses me out so I'm feeling really scratchy now. Sad, I know.
Oh, and earlier I cleaned the skirting boards and doors in the hallway, and the radiator. Need to do some more really......0 -

You and he should be very proud.. he is obviously very happy in this class and well adjusted and enjoying his time there!
He's a lovely little man. Actually to get him to this stage where he is settled is quite an achievement. He's in year 4 and always hated school before. He didn't even like this teacher particularly at the start - she can take a dislike to some children and make it obvious, and he's described her as "mean" before now. Mind you I'm often "mean" too according to him!:rotfl:She's teaching year 1 next year so I hope she is better disposed to the little ones than to the slightly older ones.
I only hope that by the time he gets to the end of year 6 the grades in his assessments don't have more value than they should for placing him in grades in high school. We don't have the national SATS here, just tests which the teacher gives them.0 -
