Evening folks, sorry I have not been around the past coupleof days but have been running late and not had time to post
Taplady - Oh dear, your DS does not have much luck with cars! I hope you find who did it
Mrs Mix - What a nasty man your neighbour is, people can say such unneccessary things sometimes. Put a kipper in his exhaust or something
Redruby - thats awful about your DD not being allowed her sunscream, it seems that teachers need their heads banging together sometimes! All rules, no common sense!
betheebee - great news ! _party_
snowy - bad news about the job. I'm sure a better job is just around the corner for you though :)

I made a big mistake at work yesterday, I sent out some stock that had a short date on it, which the customer rejected and claimed for (£300) :(. Thing is though, that was on the 12th June, so now I am bricking it that I have done the same thing between then and now.

Did some Ebay listings this morning, a bit of ironing. My house is a sty - I have yet to buy furniture (bookcases, bed, wardrobe). My mum has said she will buy me a bed, but all the beds I like are £400+ just for the frame. Don't know whether to put the money she gives me aside, or just use it to buy a cheaper bed.

Anyway, not much else to post, think I will get on with making dinner (seven layer tortilla pie :) )

    Have a good one

    Evening all

BETH GLAD YOU HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS.
    PENPIN HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER.
REDRUBY HOPE YOUR DD IS BETTER SOON.
    MRS MIX WHAT A PRATT!

HUGS TO ANYONE ELSE WHO NEEDS ONE.

Just had a phone call from my MIL, she has got to go into hospital for some urgent tests and they've got to take biopsies as she has a growth in her duodenum. She's been unwell for a while now and has lost a lot of weight. OH has gone out this evening with his work and hasn't switched his phone on as usual so I can't phone him (as usual). Am off early to London tomorrow so won't have a chance to tell him then either.

Am going to bed soon as so tired. Good thing is I've finished my reading and now start writing up. The end is in sight.

    Have a good night all.

OOo it looks like everybody has gone to the land of nod already. I'm going to go too. But just wanted to give some advice to anybody who wishes to listen:
    • Do not have two extra large bags of crips washed down with a bottle of white wine for your supper. It will make you feel ill.
There now, I hope that those who have read this nugget of wisdom will take it from me that it's true and let me feel the pain for you.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hope I can sleep!!!!

cheers for the advice snowy - also do not have five coffees in an hour and a half in order to be awake enough to load your dd's bf's car at 10.30 for a camping trip and then expect to be in bed at a reasonable time to leave at six in the morning
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
