Hey all
Have read the thread but my brain is mushy and i can't remember what I've read, so Hi, and hugs if you want/need them.
Had a call from the docs today, have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My readings were 11mmol last friday, and 10.5mmol yesterday.
Trying to get my head round everything IK've been given to read, and they have set me off on some Metaformin.
Anyway, when my head is back with it I'll bob in and say hello properly.
MethererNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Evening all,
After 4 nights of increasingly disturbed sleep courtesy of OH's insomnia I'm feeling shattered and a little down. Still, the weekend is here! I was hoping to get some gardening done as I've been too busy the last couple of weekends, but it looks like the forecasted rain will scupper that plan. Oh well.
Tea tonight was bolognaise from the freezer which I'm really pleased about because I'd been thinking of calling in Tesco for their half-price pizza as I had no inclination to cook from scratch. So once again this forum has saved me money, and I've eaten much more heathily.
Hope you're all well, big hugs for anyone who wants one. I'm off now to catch up on today's and yesterday's threads.
Take care

DD(19) and her friend were really pleased with the late breakfast I made - home made pancakes with choice of fillings, whipped fresh cream, sliced strawberries, lemon, sugar, syrup etc.
Made the same for DD(14) when she got back from school as a dessert.
Had home made lasagne for DDs and DH and I had the salmon fishcakes and broccoli that was in the M and S £10 deal.
Neighbour gave us some rhubarb yesterday so made a huge rhubarb flan with ice cream for dessert which everybody enjoyed.
Have promised DD(14) a reward for working hard at school and doing SATs - she would love GHDs but insists on saving up all her pocket money for six weeks to go halves on them. I managed to find a really good deal online where I saved £20 on the GHDs, got free delivery and also a heat mat and serum worth about £34 free so very pleased.
Hoping DH will do the dishes while I am on here or might just pop through and do them myself.

I hope the sickness and nausea passes off.

I hope your DD is feeling a little better and you are managing to get fliud down her.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"
