one bag of crisps isnt going to ruin everything so dont fret and dont let it lead u to a maratho carbfest,,, drink lots of water go straight back to it and i am sure the effect will be minimal

next time u want crisps try the cheese ones or those herb crackers i posted a couple days ago

ted everyone seems to think dr A was obese when he died its one of those stories that goes around.. u know what they say why let truth get in the way of a good story... saz i am with u on that soapbox!!

  • Since I last posted here I've made and eaten, starting from scratch this recipe.
1.5lb smoked haddock fillets went in over mark 4 for 25mins
3 eggs set to hard boil.
Head of cauliflower went in processor and was chopped to rice size particles (I did this in 2 batches) then put in a large microwavable lidded container and zapped for about 8-10mins, till cooked NO WATER ADDED AT ALL)
Chopped onion in processor and put to fry gently in 2oz butter
Went a picked a bunch of parsley while onion softening which I then chopped in processor
Added 3/4tsp curry powder to the onions.
Flaked the fish when done and added to the onions/curry mix
shelled the eggs chopped and added to the cauli
added seasoning and 1 tbs lemon juice.
Stirred everything together in a large bowl and zapped again in the microwave.
    Served and ate.
Total time taken from start to finish less than 45mins.

Very tasty and quick and easy. You really hardly notice the cauli base isn't rice.

Yes I was listening to Martin on Radio 2 at the same time as doing the cooking/eating.

will do saz, i will try them some point over weekend if not today.. it would be nice to have something of that sort to use for dips etc that u dont have to limit at all (unlike the crackers)

hmmm carbs in wood?? or is it a plstic desk? as they say marg is only one molecule from plastic i guess that would be higher in carbs than wood lol

    Kedgeree?
Not in my house you don't!!

When I was a student I had evening meals provided for the one year. Once a week it was Kedgeree....every week. The smell made me heave.

It was the only meal where they also provided an alternative dish (they knew it was foul) and even though I always had the burger instead, you could guarantee someone would sit next to me with it.

    YUK!!!
