Because I've lost so much weight I was looking at the trousers in M&S Sale clearance today but they only had 32inch waist but as they were only a fiver I thought I may as well try them on and they fitted.
So 2 pairs of smart trousers for £10 and I can now comfortably fit into a 32inch wast. Whereas in January it was a struggle to get into 42inch. It really surprised me and left me feeling just a little pleased with myself. I'm still following Dr D's plan but with a little more red wine occasionally.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Fewer calories generally leads to initial weight loss BUT if you reduce your calorie intake TOO much your body goes into starvation mode an tries to protect you by lowering metabolism rate and then you will find it much harder to lose weight in the future.
So it is important to consume a reasonable number of calories.
Why not buy some V8 or similar vegetable drink and have a glass of that. when you really don't feel like eating? It would provide some calories and important vits/mins. Four 8 oz glasses per day work well.
Have a look also at what Dr Davis has to say about the health benefits of fasting.

workout classes this morning - 1 hour aerobics 1 hour bodypump - planning on trying the pump express class tomorrow - at 7am !!!! eekk !!
brekkie - 2 large slices ham
lunch - tuna mayo and mixed salad
dinner - will be left over roast lamb and veggies

hi would love to join i am a bit of a dinosaur with computor but have read all your threads in the last 2 weeks and have lost 4 pounds ,allways liked atkins diet ,but after reading threads have purchased idiot proof diet book and cook book trying hard would like some diet buddies fed up with people telling me how bad this way of dieting is ,I have been on diets since the age of 9 , i think low carb is the best way forward ( did atkins 5 years ago ) i need to lose about a stone now i no its not loads but i used to be a lot bigger0

mirry i know its hard when u dont feel hungry but try to eat small snacks if u can jus to keep u ticking over ( she says being a non eater when stressed)

Hello eveyone! I'm back now from Carb Fest 2008! I don't even want to think about the rubbish I ate all week in Turkey! I'll be back on the wagon tomorrow, I'll weigh myself in the morning too to see what the damage is! I don't really want to know how much I've put on but I'll have to face the scales at some point!
