grate it raw (use a food processor if you have one - a cauliflower is very messy to grate on a hand grater
)
then cook in a frying pan with butter until at the desired consistency
you can add cumin etc to it if you want some extra flavour0 -
nice recipe on here (butter chicken) Ideal for atkins.

Kindness costs nothing0 -

http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-make-creme-caramel
the only problem i can see is the sugar .
Do you think it would still work with sweetner ?
I dont think it would , but does any one know different ?Kindness costs nothing0 -
I do feel that the low carb approach does appear to be helping regulate my low moods.
As you know studies have shown that insulin sensitivity is improved by as much as 60% when levels of VTD are increased from 25 to 75 nmol/ and high vitamin D status provides protection against type 2 diabetes so improving your vitamin d status will achieve both these objectives and much much more for only around 4p/daily.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

These are- Eat a low carb diet
- Correct omega 3 status with 1.5mg-2g of EPA + DHA daily. He also suggests those who find large capsules difficult 2-4 capsules daily of Krill oil may be an effective alternative. (they are a bit pricey though)
- Correct vitamin d insufficiency for UK adults this requires 4000iu-6000iu/daily.
- Use an effective amount of Magnesium (he suggests 600mg/daily Magnesium Malate or Magnesium Taurinate, though you may find lactate, citrate or aspartate forms easier to find in the UK and these are also absorbed/utlised effectively.
In today's D3 updates I find this association between low 25(OH)D levels and higher incidences of four mood disorders: premenstrual syndrome, seasonal affective disorder, non-specified mood disorder, and major depressive disorder. This review indicates a possible biochemical mechanism occurring between vitamin D and mood disorders affecting women,My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Fructose Sugar Builds Up Fat Fast
It looks like this article is based on this
Fructose-Induced Leptin Resistance Exacerbates Weight Gain in Response to Subsequent High Fat Feeding.
Here is Gary Taubes take on that research
Possibly the key paragraph from Taubes is this One possibility, for instance, is that fructose and glucose are needed to create chronically elevated insulin levels and so cause weight gain, metabolic syndrome, etc., but that once the process is initiated all easily digestible carbohydrates keep it going or make it worse.
I've just started using google chrome and by golly it's fast.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Good morning my lovlies :hello: Feeling a bit tired and under the weather this morning. And permanently feeling cold?
Wish I could just stay in bed for a week but I don't think my boss would be too happy lol. Oh well, gonna make a coffee in a min and see if that jizzes me up a bit. Then have a meeting to go to, joy of joys, not!

- thanks for this Ted. I ordered some of those high strength Vit D3 caps from the States last year and I took them religiously. Just as soon the builders have finished turning my flat into a bombsite, and I can actually find stuff again, I will start taking them again, especially now that it seems summer is definitely over (not that it ever began lol:rolleyes:).I've just started using google chrome and by golly it's fast.I'll have another look...
Not much else to report. I have been craving a burger, and found some Scotch Beef burgers on offer in Sainsbury's this morning - half price and only 1g carb per burgerSo may have that tonight - got salad for lunch but feel like I need warm food.
shykins - I'm definitely not having the clear brain thing right now. Altho, some people would doubt whether I ever had it!:o :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone
Hugs to all,
