I do similar to you, though I don't take pysllium as I found it bloated my tummy.
I also take magesium suppement as I have read that it is an essential supplement that we are not getting enough of nowadays.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
Had three low carb sausages and a sliced small tomato for breakfast.
Was desperate for something to crunch so had four tiny water biscuits wih cream cheese on top and really appreciated them!
DH is just about to drive me to Lidl for more fruit and veg, eggs, meat etc.
Youngest DD has decided she wants to go veggie for a while so will make sure I have suitable stuff for her."This site is addictive!"

It's the weekend!!!
Curry is ordered, cauli is grated, takeaway very bemused that we just want 2 curries and no rice or nan :rotfl:
Hormones all over the place today, so have made a gorgeous choccie cake (low carb of course) for pudding. House smells of melted dark chocolate
Yum yum!!!
Just need to convince OH that it's his turn to go get the food0 -
Found a curry in sains that's 2.2g per 100......so that's 8.8g. Boiled a bit of cauli and slightly undercooked it. Then smashed it with a fork for that ricey effect.
Not bad............yum
xGirls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

Morning all! I'm very glad that it is the weekend but feeling a little discouraged! I haven't lost any weight/ inches, if anything I've gained a bit! When does it start coming off?
I really don't think I've been cheating, unless you count the snickers I dreamt about last night! I'm at my BF's for the weekend which means I'm going to struggle for low-carb food, may have to go home and cook up a load of stuff to bring back as I have to stop spending money on food! I have spent so much this week and it seems pointless now as I just feel fatter!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Birdie if its any consolation I've been a really good girl not straying at all and I got on the scales this morning and guess what? I've put a lb on and I know I havent lost any inches.I've read loads about this diet and I've made sure I dont overeat.I drink loads of water but the weight just isnt coming off.I know the ladies will come on here and say I lost last week and to persevere but its extremely upsetting when you try so hard and fail through no fault of your own.I know people on the low carb that are stuffing their face and losing weight whereas I'm watching every last thing I put in my mouth, reading labels etc but still not losing:embarasse
Oh well I'll give it another week and then if still no weight loss I give in

Good morning my lovlies :hello:
Birdie, Lesley - I'm in the same boat. It's interesting that my diet and eating habits are so different now to what they were - I was the ultimate carb addict lol - and I've not touched bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, no sugar, etc for nearly two months now... yet considering the drastic change, it's made very little difference weight/inches wise.
Having said that, my prime motivation for this is still keeping my insulin levels in check to avoid potential diabetes down the road in life, so I shall persevere. Gonna try and stick with Dr D's plan because I am reluctant to have to count/measure stuff.
Keep going guys, try not to get too disheartened, tho I know that's much easier said than done xx
Shykins - enjoy the housewarmingTinker - any cake left?
I'm gonna have some toasted flax bread and cheese for breakfast, then need to get ready to go out and have hair done and generally get ready for my holiday which starts a week today! Yippee!! :j
Much love to you all and have a good day,
