Morning all shhh dont want to say it too loud but it isnt raining here:j

A hard day for me yesterday but I stuck to the diet plan with no slips and I drunk loads so I'm hopeful by the end of the week I'll have lost the first stone I so desperately want to get rid of.

    Yesterdays meal plan was

    B 2 egg Mushroom omelette

L Sardines with mayonnaise and finely chopped tomato

T Savoury mince with a side salad

Birdie great news about the salad.I love veggies so have never had a problem eating them. But yesterday I ate sardines which I loathe so I can see where you are coming from.As for the b/f he'd be wearing the choccie cake if it had been my OH :rotfl:

Just had a cheese omelette - then two sausages - then strawberries and Greek yoghurt!

I feel absolutely stuffed now! Probably a reaction to yesterday when I could not get what I wanted for lunch and had no choice but quiche and salad - scraped off the pastry and left the coleslaw and most of the red and yellow peppers and carrot on the plate - felt really cheated.

Had 14 year old DD with me so did not have time to try on clothes and spent all the afternoon in the rain looking for new bedlinen for my 19 year old DD!

Have just tried on a size 18 skirt from my wardrobe and it fits - I can even fasten the button.

Well done Elona,:T I find that getting into smaller clothes more of an incentive than the scales

I think it will be weeks (if not months) before I dare stand on the scales.;)

Going out for some food for tonight but everybody likes or hates different stuff so get discouraged!!!

Hi all! Day 2 in the Birdie Low Carb House...

I feel really weird! Sluggish and craving chocolate and feeling hungry no matter what I eat! I can't be doing with feeling like this all the time! Really hoping I'll wake up feeling better tomorrow but I have a feeling that I'm going to feel like this until the weekend!

I just have to keep reading about how well you're all doing to keep me on the straight and narrow! But I'd kill for a bar of Cadbury's Wholenut!

Tough few days for me too one way or another, but let's keep going hun x

That's very impressive Sazbo, I'd have rugby tackled her and eaten it before I even knew what was happening! LOL!

I just went into one of the offices at work and was offered biscuits, I had to refuse but it killed me a little inside! I also had to leave quickly before I changed my mind!

personally i find the best way to kill any cravings is to eat some fat
so maybe a spoonful of cream or some melted cheese - but something with a really high fat % and the fat kills the cravings
not recommended for long term use but hopefully you should only really be craving until you have burnt all your stored carbs which may just take a couple of days

I thought I was dying on day 1 (book says day 5 is the most common day to feel like carp).

I was full of the joys of spring on day 2, and haven't looked back since!

Just bear in mind that if you fall off the wagon in the 1st 2 weeks that withdrawal will be harder the next time you cut out the carbs ;)
