Oooh, lovely, thanks for that! I love peppers and was worried that they were forbidden along with my other favourite veggies!

I'm tempted to get the IPD cookbook, I'll probably get it once I've run out of ideas! The internet it great for recipes but sometimes it is nice to look at pictures too!

There aren't any pics in the cookbook :(

Daisy like shykins I'm curious to know what you had done.

I'm slowly coming round to the idea of weighing myself once a week as there are days when the weight fluctuates upwards despite your best efforts to make it go downwards.I put on a lb yesterday but lost it again this morning so I'm really still at the same weight as I was on Sunday which is a little frustrating but heyho onwards and upwards.Eventually when I get a little more used to the diet I'll lose the need to weigh every day and then I'll go onto weekly.I've had a lovely 2egg omelette for brekkie with mushrooms and ham.It was cooked for me by hubbie:eek:

Gillette you really shouldnt get disheartened you know as I think you only need to tweak the diet plan slightly to start the lbs rolling off.But as I said before its a personal thing and a case of trial and error. Its like I've tried yoghurt for brekkie twice now and on both days I've put weight on now this might be coincidence or it could be that my body doesnt like yoghurt. So now I'll avoid yoghurt for a couple of weeks then try it again and see if it has the same effect or not or if it was just a coincidence. So keep your chin up chicken if I can stay on this flaming diet with four kids eating crisps, sticky buns and chocolate around me:mad: I'm sure you can:D

Just had an omelette and two cups of coffee with cream.

DH has a meeting in Hull today so thought that me and DD(14) could come with him and have a wander round the shops while he is busy.

In the last week we have been to Whitby, Redcar and now Hull!

If I can find some sales on I might try on trousers a size down and see what they are like.

Have worked out that two sizes down would make me size 16 skirts and size 18 trousers which would mean shopping at "normal" places.

If I can achieve that goal then I feel I could stay on modified Atkins or Dr D and just see what happens without feeling pressured.

i had a tummy tuck to correct the damage my pregnancies left me with - weakened muscles and an apron of skin - not a good look

6 weeks after my op i bought my first ever pair of size 10 years - felt fantastic !! wore them with pride on holiday and havent worn them since due to the dreaded muffin top !!!

im sure none of you lovely low carb ppl are judgemental in any way but i just want you to now that a TT is in no way a weight loss solution before ppl start thinking how i ''cheated'' or ''took the easy option''
a TT is far from an easy option - not only in terms of money but in time and pain
its very debilitating and is a long recovery - final results can take up to a year to settle
anyway enough of that -- if anyone wants to know anymore im happy to talk about it :)

regarding weight loss tho - dont be disheartened with these odd lb's here and there - ive been back on board for a week and not lost a thing !!!! i blame the wine :(

right off shopping for new school supplies - wish me luck :)

I hada blow out last night......but an atkins one-ish.
Had loads of chicken. I cooked enough for week. And it only lasted last nite and my lunch today when I eat it.
AND I finished off the cream. In my twisted world this means I won't be tempted to eat it again coz it's gone LOL.

I think I need to have these pig outs. My body wants them. And this morning I am still the same weight. I think I need food to keep my metabolism going. But then eat less for a bit and the burning effect overruns and I lose weight.

I used to do this on my other diets.

Love to all - I am a bloke BTW.

    Good afternoon!

This is my first day of IPD, I went shopping this morning and spent a load of money on food so I'd better lose weight! LOL! I don't think my trolley has ever looked so healthy; the girl on the till must have been wondering where the crisps and biscuits were!

I'm a bit of a salad dodger but I bought some rocket and spinach (the least scary looking leafy things there!) and I'm having my first ever proper salad for tea! It has got turkey and bacon in, but it is still a salad! I really hope I like it! I've brought lots of nibbly things (slices of salami, cheese and nuts) to fill up on if I don't like it! (I work until 10 so I can't raid the fridge if I get hungry!)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Yay!!!!!!!!! You're gonna love it hon.

Just watch your nut and cheese consumption, and as India and Neris say, "drink your flipping water!!!!" and you'll be fine.
