oh elona.. what a twit he is, men open mouth put in foot then wonder why we are peeved with them!!!!.. u are doing fantastic to get the skirt done up that was tight so blaaah to him, as u say dont talk to him about it anymore, i never used to speak to my parents about losing weight for similar reasons, then when i had lost over 4stone they suddenly said oh did u lose weight .. umm yeah!!!

gillette fantastic on the 4lbs!!! yumm pak choi and as u say lowcarb too... lol at MSE teaching u about women see what u can learn from the internet

saz.. yaaay to u too 8lbs is fantastic, did u try the cheese crisps i mentioned, fixes my crisp fix every time

hanspan.. u can make the oopsies without cream of tartar as long as u whip the whites stiff u will be fine... oh and when u do a reply scroll down a bit and click on notification type and make it read instant email notification.. that way u will get informed every time someone replies here

ok big confession here i have been VERy naughty do the words krispy kreme mean anything to u <whistle>.... why do they put them stands jus inside tesco <sigh> .. back with the plan tomorrow i promise

Thanks for the help on both fronts.

So how are the oopsies supposed to look? Mine are scotch pancake sort of shape - definitely not 'roll' shaped. Taste quite good though - if a bit eggy.

Dinner last night two oopsies with pepper salami, cream cheese and gherkins and a muffin with bacon and mushrooms.

OH has taken to those and the muffins so I'm going to have to buy more silicone muffin thingies and make double mixture of everything - maybe he'll lose weight without even knowing he's on a diet if I make enough ;)

If you crave chocolate I've a solution - as long as you like your chocolate very dark and strong.

For years I've bought Noir Infini which is 99% cocoa, so almost nil carbs but I've now found 100% chocolate!
https://www.chocolatetrading.com do the Michel Cluizel noir infini:

and two types of 100% chocolate. For me the Domori cacao cult is very bitter:

but the Pralus is absolutely fabulous

The site is dangerous so if those links don't work search by make and try to keep your eyes closed until you find the very strong stuff!

thanks hanspan i only eat dark chocolate now.. i am on about 85-90% at the moment not made the jump up to 100 i cant imagine how that must taste!!!.. will look at those links anyways lol

its nice the dark choc is so low in carbs isnt it, in maintenance i eat a couple of squares a day and cos its do strong it takes ages to eat a piece... i was reading a book the other day and the woman in it said about shaving pieces of chocolate off her square and how it took an hour toeat lol i thought THATS MEE!!!

yes the oopsies do sort of look like scotch pancakes (good description btw) about 2 cm or so thick.. not really like a roll as such but an alternative thats aceptable to me, a friend said she made the 1min muffin in a sandwich tin, didnt use sweeteners and has been using that as bread so u might like to try that too

    Morning Everyone

Feeling a little disheartened this morning.

Dont ask me why cos I should be on a buzz losing the weight last week but somehow its so daunting having so much still to lose.Heyho got to think positive and keep going

Just had bacon and mushrooms for brekkie, planning on tuna salad for lunch to try and up my omega3's until I can get into town to buy some supplements

I've read about the 1 min muffin recipe but cant seem to find it has anyone got a link or can post the recipe I'd be most grateful

aww ravy i know how u feel, honest when i thought god i have 8stone to lose it seemed insurmountable so i just thought, i think i will just lose a stone then when that was done i thought ok lets try for another... thinking one stone at a time seemed much more doable so break it down dont think of the whole lot in one go.. i even had a 6month break in the middle where i maintained my initial loss.. U CAN DO IT!!!

look how much u have done already and look at all the lovely food u are eating doing it

ok will go find u 1 minute muffin recipe
