you MUST eat! the scales will go up otherwise (i promise you) ;)

this does not work like normal diets, remember ;)

You said eat or I'd be heavier.....so I had cheese salad for late lunch, lamb chop and salad for dinner....100g double cream in drinks and via a spoon.

    One pound heavier today...........Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So I only lost one pound this week. So I will be thin in 2010......Pah!!!

You're not meant to eat 99% or 100% chocolate straight away!!! It's like cheese - you start mild and work your way up. So you should have a piece of 70%, then 85% then the really dark stuff!

I tried 99% chocolate straight (as it were) and couldn't believe how muddy it tasted in my mouth. But the aftertaste was HEAVENLY. As it's at least twice the price of 85% chocolate, I tend to stick to that most of the time (not every day) and have the 99% during the TOTM when I need more of a hit!

You should spread your food out though! Having all that so late it's still sitting in your system!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Never mind gillette - eat properly this week and I'm sure you'll be dropping lbs next week ;)

The coffee one is only about 60% cocoa actually - I was surprised. It's got a fair bit of sugar in it too :(

It hadn't been 6 hrs. I got up late.
Yesterday I had about 80g cheese, one g-g crispbread with butter, some salad (romaine, celery, pak choi - please don't ask me how many "cups" LOL), an avocado, a lamb chop, quite a bit of mayo....and 4ltrs of water. 3 decaf coffees and 100g double cream (some in coffee....some just for fun).

I'm not really complaining or about to quit. It's just 2lb would be acceptable.....1lb feels like a kick in the teeth tbh. I don't want a diet that don't feel like a diet if you don't lose weight. I am good at diets and I want to lose weight.

If you are "good at diets" then that could be the problem - your body does not know if it wll be fed or not.

You might need more time so you know that you will be fed and trust what you are doing.

Had 2 rashers of bacon and one egg for a late breakfast. Have a chicken cooking in the oven for later and about to have a coffee with cream.

DDs say they can see a difference in me so that sounds hopeful.

Will have been doing this for three weeks tomorrow but still do not dare weigh myself in case I get either discouraged or complacent!

Gillette having read as much as I have about eating low carb the one thing I've learned is that there is no definitive eating plan for success its purely down to the individual. If you seem to be having trouble losing the pounds then start tweaking what you are eating or when you are eating to see if it makes a difference.Eat less veg or eat more meat etc.You have to find the eating plan that works for you and stick to it

Weigh-in day for us. I've lost another 3lbs (my second week) and DD has lost 4lbs (1st week). Trying not to focus on actual weight-loss, more on the fact that my jeans are looser!

Lovely roast pork with cabbage, green beans, carrot, cauli and broccoli at Mum's yesterday. Poached peach and raspberries with double cream for pud. Wasn't tempted by the damson pie or carrot cake at all!

DD cooked herself brunch this morning, but the lovely smell of mushrooms frying meant she ended up cooking bacon and eggs for OH and her brother as well. I think I may be baconed out, as I really don't fancy it at all at the moment. Tuna or pilchards for lunch, I think.
