Today I mowed our lawn which is largish and is on a slope and normally I find it very hard work! Today I pretty much flew through it and Im also increasing my levels at the gym which I did after mowing the lawn. Was going to swim tonight but they shut early on Mondays so I made the trip for nothing. Surprised now at my energy levels. Therefore-Im not disheartened by the scales as I truly realise that they are only a part of the package.
Still just thinking about going to the gym.0 -
Good morning all :hello:
Hope everyone doing ok today. It's sunny & I'm feeling smiley.
Menu for today
B - buttery scrambled egg with cheese pod chopped up
L - salmon salad (as yesterday)
D - to be decided?
I'm off to the co-op in a minute - walking the long way round to get a bit of exercise & to make the most of the sunshine!!
Happy days everyone.
PS. I'm missing Shykins & it looks like daisy's done a runner too!! Come back please - we need you!!0 -

Can you freeze chocolate? If so, you could break it into pieces & freeze them (individually on a tray then put them in a box?) & just get one out at a time. I would imagine frozen chocolate would take a lot longer to suck so you might just stick at one piece?! Just a thought.
I've put the rest of it in the fridge. I hate chilled chocolate.
Creme eggs - now, that is naughty!! The only sweet thing I've been bad with since I started is too much 85% - all my other sins are savoury (or alcoholic). In fact, the thought of Galaxy or Lindor - my previous favourites - makes my teeth ache.
Lots of people seem to be doing really well right now. Perhaps it's the spring weather giving us all an impetus, especially with summer looming. Hope it continues!0 -

Lol...Daisy has done a runner...literally. I ventured into the exercise thread in the hope those peeps would rub off on me and I bumped into her there.
Maybe shy has lost so much weight now, she's melted away to nothing? :undecided

Hi folks, hmm, maybe being single not so bad after all
Sweet, your idea with the choc is what one diet book recommended.
I used to freeze it and let a chunk dissolve in mouth, impossible to crunch anyway. I hate unrefridgerated choc
Have made a lovely looking lasagne out of thinly sliced (with cheese slicer) courgette, looks great as lasagne can be green too. Not done a taste test as its still cooling. If ok will post pics and recipe, pretty simple tho i'm sure you can guess. Not sure of carbs will need to work out.0
