Hi all - well done on the weight losses. My weigh day today and I've lost 6lb. Just another *cough cough* to go.

Didn't post menu for yesterday as I was mainly snacking in between tidying bedrooms, cupboards, going for a walk, tidying again.
    Today so far:
B - omelette, mushroom, spring onion, ham
    L - cheese salad
D - erm something or other - think it'll be the stir-fry option again with steak possibly maybe
  • alias, my eyes are all red & watering laughing at your posts!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Couldn't believe it when I saw the big red declaration of my weight loss!! Honestly, you try & keep things discreet!! :rotfl:
Not sure if I should tell you how to make cheesy leeks now!! Ok, I will in a minute.
First of all, that 8 lbs was a total shocker for me!! Hadn't weighed myself since last Monday so was gobsmacked (I hate that word but it does sum it up nicely!!) when I saw how much I'd lost!! BUT it just goes to show how over-doing it on carbs affects my body - I think I just absorb so much water & bloat up, especially on my face. I don't think it will be quite such a dramatic weight-loss next week though.
45 stone to lose?! Lol!! Not quite that much!! It's 8lbs less than it was before though!! :p
And no, don't even think of eating bad things for a few days or you'll have kissitbetta on your case!! :rotfl:
    Ok, cheesy leeks -
Lightly saute chopped leeks in butter (don't burn them)
Add double/single cream or creme fraiche - not a huge amount or it's too runny
Grate cheese in & warm through (no particular amount)
Season with black pepper & scoff!!
That's it!! Easy peasy & sooooo yummy!!

I'm in a sunny mood this morning because my weigh-in showed that I've finally got rid of the pound that I've been fighting with for the last couple of weeks. So now I've lost exactly 3 stone in exactly 6 months, which is a nice round figure (rather like my own :D).
That's great HC, well done!! A total of 3 stone lost is brilliant!! :j Glad you're in a sunny mood. :D

Well done MoonRose too - 6lbs!! Yay!! Sounds like you have been a busy bee as well as angelic!! :D
  • Ok, finally getting around to posting my menu for today -
    B - blues/rasps & cream (leftovers from yesterday)
L - salmon salad (salad leaves, tinned salmon mixed with mayo & chopped spring onions, coleslaw & grated cheese)
    D - frittata/omelette with good old cheesy leeks :D
Off to the co-op now for more eggs (of the fresh, not creme variety!!). Think I'll buy a dozen this time as I seem to be going through them really quickly!!
    Happy days everyone.
  • Losr 1lb last week not 100% happy I would have like more. Think the 85% choc has stalled me. So since Fri I have been sticking to my low carb ish diet and since Fri I have lost 1 1/2 pounds and ate the same bar the choc.
sw start date 23/09/2013 4 st 8 pounds to go....as of 21/10/13 not 3 stone 7 to go for first target. updated 18/11/13 now 2 stone 10lbs to go to first target.

Congrats to all of you who have lost so much. :thatsbrilliant: Hopefully I'll be up there with you soon. Going to be really strict this week and make sure I lose something to add to my measly 7lbs, lol.

By the way can anyone tell me anything about Acai vitamins. I had bought a few boxes of them but am afraid to take them as they are based on the Acai berrry  and not sure if they are Atkins friendly.
