I now have an issue with horrible arms. When I was heavier, the tops of my arms were kinda solid iyswim but now I'm losing, they are going all saggy baggy and look horrible. I haven't been exercising but I obviously now need to start. What's bothering me though is that my 45 yr old skin just isn't as forgiving as it used to be and I might end up like one of those peeps you sometimes see on the telly who need to get wads of skin cut away surgically.
*goes off into panic mode*
It's kinda ironic that when I finally get to the stage where I care.....it might be too late to get a good result. Oh well, there's always tops with sleeves I suppose. :rotfl:
.
Jumpers with batwing sleeves.. remember those:rolleyes:
Dont think your supposed to actually 'fill' the sleeves tho:rotfl:0 -
Oh yeuch! I had a mint green slash neck thing with batwing sleeves. And a seriously dodgy perm that I had to get cut out leaving me with very short seriously dodgy hair.
:rotfl:
Some things you really just want to forget. :rolleyes:Herman - MP for all!0 -
I'm always paranoid about my arms - thing is, even when I have a lovely slim body I still have chubby upper arms, which just give the overall impression of a big girl
They have lost a lot over the past year and I got a bit of that saggy situation, though thankfully it's pretty much caught up with itself now.
I find moisturising a lot (E45 cream) makes me feel like my skin can catch up better, and then I use Bio Oil for the shrink marks... the one thing I've found best for toning up those upper arms is the pole dancing - all that pulling and lifting really helps.
I haven't lost a single pound since February 1st - however I've clearly got stronger so I hope I've just been replacing fat with muscle. After all, since starting the new job, I walk about 7 miles a day that I never did before, as well as using more mental energy and generally being more active. I just want my home pole to arrive noooowww so I can practise more!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Morning all!
sweets, you can get feta just in a block too, asda had it on cheap in my local. It's tangy and doesn't quite disappear into the scrambleds. Think it's goat/sheep based. Very nice for a change. If you have the oily suff I'd just drain it well first. Shouldn't make much diffence.
Good to hear that the salmon treats work with fresh, I love salmonTorn between salmon steak or beef steak for tea, what a lovely quandary :rotfl:
I now have some flaxmeal so will experiment. Didn't want to go for the equipment til I know I'll use it.
Gorgeously sunny here, had a poke at the garden but don't want to do too much else I'll upset my beneficial insects still asnooze in the dead stuff. Well that's my excuse
Seed planting I think today, will have to see. Feel lazy but restless.
Have a good sunday!

Tesco do a block of value salad cheese (for a greek style salad) and if it isn't feta it's exactly like it.
Maybe its like champagne, cant call it that unless its from feta country:D
Cant remember how much but was very cheap.0 -

Thanks for the info on feta/pretend feta - can't believe I've never bought it before!!Going to get some though (the cheapie stuff) & I'm also going to get some mozarella so I can try Mercy's fudge thingy.
I'm another one with an upper arm issue - they call them bingo wings here!! :rotfl: Swimming is supposed to be a good exercise for them but I'm just not ready to put myself through that yet!!Push-ups against a wall, rather than on the floor, are meant to be good too. I really should start practicing what I preach!! :rotfl:
Well, I've been out for my picnic & very nice it was too. Had a good walk, with some uphill struggles, & lots of fresh air. Was hoping to see some toads but think it's too early for them so will go back in a few weeks, they are worth seeing as there's literally hunners of em!!
