Guys help...my big pot of thick double cream has mould on the top
and I wanted to use it to make a cheese sauce for my cauli.....can I use creme fraiche instead or is that mainly for sweet things?

Had lovely lamb dinnner, cauli mash is sooo good instead of potato, [STRIKE]kids[/STRIKE] men had HM lamb gravy but i had that Schwartz chicken one, you really do only need 1/4 of pack, i mix mine with some joint juices and fat, small amount of water and is really lovely, a life saver.
Been busy so having nice lounge on bed with a cuppa, bliss.
Getting bit peckish so might go and simmer some smoked haddock.0 -

Worked just fine. In fact I think I prefer it to creme now tbh. Will have to go check which is heavier in carbs to decide.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Well however good I am I seem to have stalled. Keeping up my routine at the gym and I can feel my muscles working now! I may just do my own "low carb thing" rather than Atkins for a bit! Not going back to my bad ways though. Not had any fruit since the last temptations. May simply have the normal meals without the mash, chips, rice pasta or bread and have no crisps cake etc either except on special occasions.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Perhaps the upside is that our bones stay better longer due to better hormone levels? They are said to get worse after the

Thanks maz.......the fatter you are to start...the more you lose at the start.
I am usually pretty strict (regardless of how much I moan on here) BUT I do have times where I overdo the 'technically allowed in moderation' things. This is usually in the run up to TOTM. I was just saying the other day that Atkins had helped in this area previously...it had lessened mood swings and reduced PMT etc, but for some reason it's all getting worse again these days. Might be my age, lol.
There's been 2 birthdays in our house in the last month and I haven't even so much as smelt the cake! (< to sweet :rotfl: ) However I do still have cups of tea with milk and I've also started drinking diet coke again. Both of which definitely stall me. I'm also positive that if I drink a lot of water, then I lose...if I dont drink much, I dont.
I've lost a pound this week and whilst that's still in the right direction, I know it could be a lot better so I'm going to try to stick firmly to just what I should be eating/drinking and cut out the 'odds' like coke etc.
On a side note, I had you pegged as younger than 53.Just shows what I know as I had Badger pegged as older. :rotfl:

Mashed potato is one of my all-time fave comfort foods & I [STRIKE]can[/STRIKE] could eat it by the bucket full!! :rotfl:0
