Been there sue. Not with a steam shower (jealous) but with jobs getting done, mess and tradesmen under your feet. Sympathise.

Well I had white fish and broc for tea tonight with a Hollandaise sauce over it. *yeuch...spit*. Will never buy that sauce again. :( Had to sit picking round the edge of my fish to get at the uncovered bits.

Oh for the days where I just stuck oven chips in the oven.

:o Did I say that out loud again? :rotfl:

Sweet, I only use a masher, then whisk a fork around with cream and butter like i do with mashed pots, have got a ricer but hate washing it. I agree with alias, if i lost 8lbs in a month you'd all know it.
Think i am perimenopausal too as very heavy and never was.

HC, that is brilliant, 3 stone in 6 months.. I wish

Kissit, loved the  reply, laughed out loud.

Alias, know what sweet means about not burning cos i did and not nice, look minging too. So be careful.. bet you cant eat many:D

Had sirloin steak fried with mushrooms, then added cream, served with spinach, a first for me (spinach) was delish. Cant eat as much as i used too anymore.. good!!

It's a fair cop, guv. :rotfl:

No idea why oven chips are suddenly so inticing... maybe something to do with the fact that it's 6.20pm and I'm STILL AT WORK

Excuse me, i'm not in there so dont need to move over:D

Actually.. i have had the odd square of 85% choc, but apart from that i've been good. Dont think i've lost tho, so if not, its that, as even having cream in tea now.. yuk,
Have even been making hot buttery toast for my son and not had any, did really fancy toasted granary  on Sat but was strong and had buttery eggs. :A

If i've not lost will be disappointed, but, really doing it so i dont become diabetic. Am sure i will eventually lose:rolleyes2

    I said I wouldn't buy any more 85% choc, but I did today. :(

And I've eaten 3/4 of it. Really not sure why I sabotage myself so stupidly. Been so good lately too.

It is hard if you have it in the house but if i didnt i'd eat normal chocolate probably.

I refused several offers of all gold in work today, it even still had the orange cream left, my fave.
Dont kno if i can keep up the good work tho.

I tend to lapse when ive lost quite a bit, i feel i 'deserve' it then, hope thats not gonna happen tho.

Tis only a hiccup. :D Dont fret. One day's little hiccup is insignificant compared to all the days where you are strict with yourself.

I used to beat myself up if I ate what I shouldn't and then I'd think 'oh well, I've had that now so I may as well have this too' etc etc. Then before you know it, I'd have every type of carb containing food that you could possibly come up with.

I'm now much more chilled if I cheat a bit and it's much easier to get past now. My head was a worse enemy than my appetite or sweet tooth was.

Relax and move on. It's done now and tomorrow is another day. :)
