I'm visiting friends in Switzerland
The land of cheese and chocolate :rotfl:
Yep, I'm jealous!!
With it being St. Patrick's Day today I'm thinking of Ireland. The land of Guinness!!
Can't wait to see'em as they have v young kiddies who are 8 months older than last time I went over. I have such good fun there.
Ahhh, lovely. Young kiddies are a lot of fun.
Cannot say I will stay off the choc totally when I'm there, that'd be perverseWill not fetch back a suitcase full though, like I did last time :rotfl:
Honest
We believe you Mercy, thousands would'nt!! :rotfl:

Sorry, don't know anything about acai.
Thanks sweet, but it is in 3 weeks, although Im planning to go to the gym this week so maybe that will push me on. As you say its better with the good weather, makes me want to get out of bed in the morning as I become a recluse in the winter
I did atkins years ago and seem to remember eating avocados most days but the book Ive got Atkins Made Easy doesn't mention them too much. I got New Diet Revolution from ebay this morning but havent had time to look at it yet.0 -
mazzers, your lasagne sounds yum - I love courgette!! Definitely post a recipe please!!
I'm with the unrefrigerated chocolate peeps, the warmer the better!! Not that I'm eating chocolate at the moment you understand!! :rotfl: As if!! :rotfl:0 -

Keep going. Spring is in the air & I feel much more cheery & motivated so it definitely makes a difference.0 -
Mazzers that sounds lovely, looking forward to trying it. Have to say the thought of Swiss choc is mouthwatering, lol0

Ive got at least 4 stones to lose  Ive always been on the heavy side but never as heavy as this. But youre right , with the sun shining I feel a lot?? more positive, lol. Im determined to stick with it and get more exercise too. A few weeks ago I would just have hidden away., but thanks to all the positive on here I feel I can achieve something now.
Thanks guys :j0 -
Mmm, just tried it and is lovely and tasty.
Sorry about the pics, crappy camera but you get the gist.
Dont know if someone can work out the carbs, will take me ages
but consists of roughly 1lb minced beef, chopped leek and garlic, bout 8oz cheese, 100ml? cream for the sauce and sprinkle of cheese for topping, a large courgette thinly sliced and boiled and prob the only bad item is lge tin tomatoes made into a sauce by frying leeks and garlic adding toms and basil and simmering before blitzing (which makes it go orangey and pasta saucey).
Dont know if i made that sound confusing:rotfl:
Just checked and toms were 12g for whole tin
so rest shouldn't be too high.0 -
Mazzers, that looks lush:D
Well done! I need to do a big shop tonight so will add a few ingredients to make this;)If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

sweetserendipity wrote: »Lol!! Good to see you are still around kissit!! What have you been up to, apart from lurking obviously?! :rotfl:
Work, work and more work. I am actually busier than Badger but with more access to the net
I am feeling very, very smug hence the lurking.... My wii fit (which I really lurve) sang a little tune signaling that I am no longer overweight. My BMI is now in the ideal range. Not that I take much notice of the BMI because I think it is off for a LOT of people but I did a dance anyway. I plan to shift another stone and be "skinny". Hell, I've got this far, why not.
I am actually HC's twinny except I am a burnette, tad younger and don't have twins. ( and am extremely bossy!)
Congrats all you losers :T <<< this is one of the few forums you can get away with saying that and meaning it as a term of endearment.0
