Well I have just finished my 2nd week of induction and only lost a 1lb this week but I am happy its still a pound in the right direction. Only thing I'm worried about is I'm still really tired and have really tired heavy legs, does anyone know how long this will last as I know its to be expected but thought I would have come through it by now?
Hi are you drinking enough water

Well am ready for tomorrow - didn't pig out as much as I thought I might have done but thats the last high-carb food for me. Will change my sig now otherwise I'll end up forgetting. So here's to a new woe.

Yay! Felt a bit bossy with my recent post about putting plans in sigs (what with the red n large letters:o) . That bossy corner is well populated! Still, it's good company :)

I find it beneficial to be upbraided on occasion and more so reading others being told off :rotfl:

You learn so much and get timely reminders. Glad none of you do spelling corrections, mind :)

The Ladies having thigh issues - I got that for about a week after I got serious lately, it's worn off now for me, hope this gives hope! Keep it up and work through it. Drink enough and be good :)

Having cream cheese, boiled egg, mayo and smoked salmon all mixed up, on lettuce and celery. Yum!

Best of luck for the new week!

Hello, Everyone! I`ve been keeping up with you all and your daily tribulations, but just as a lurker. I`m interested in the coconut oil theory..... what are your experiences of it so far?.
I was looking for results in the University of Pennsylvania low-carb diet study, but I can`t find any so far.I think they`re still sorting data. I`m hoping Ted will know. (???)
Anyway, I did come up with the link above and thought you guys might like a look at it.

    regards, Nerdy.

Hi nerdy! Glad to meet ya! :j

I use coconut oil a lot. It has benefits that Ted is best to illustrate :)

What I do know is that it has the lowest omega 3/6 rating. 0 omega 3's but the lowest omega 6 so easier to offset.

I find it great for cooking, I never have milk in my coffee but a little coconut oil in black coffee or fruit tea is very nice.

Also used as a hair and body moisturiser it excells and is relatively cheap.

Bit of a convert, never measured it's health effect in eating compared to other things, but am happier to use it than other cooking oils, along with butter, of course :)

    I get mine from http://www.coconoil.co.uk/

    I love it :)
