Hi guys another newbie here and my 1st post on mse, although I feel as I know you all aleady as I have been lurking the dark for the past 4 weeks reading all the posts and I must say they are very amusing and informative. But I have now come out hiding and thought I would join in the fun.

Myself and my husband started Atkins just over a week ago and its going really well although that is mainly down to all the advice on here and the recipes which I think will keep me going. Thanks and keep up the good work.
    Started Atkins 22/02/09 - total weightloss 11lbs:j

re nuts yes they are ok but not if u are doing atkins induction, remember when u ask questions we need to know what plan u are on before we answer as it can get a little confusing

Consider me suitably chastised... I think you may just note from my advice... induction is only what is on the list

sorry kissit i didnt mean to chastise u was just pointing out that they arent ok for induction... its much easier when everyone puts what they are doing in their siggy so we advise for that plan as we are all doing slightly differnt things and its hard to remember who is what plan

hi shelby glad to have u with us, glad u enjoyed reading our witterings and well done on yr first post being in such a good thread lol

alm cant u eat some of the meat plain??? how about making some sauces with mayo eg curry powder (like coronation chicken sauce) or with tomato puree (like prawn cocktail sauce)... i thicken stews by whizzing up some of the veg so its like gravy .. ummm what else am thinking lol
