newish u must of been posting when i was but u reminded me about exercise

the thing is if u step up your exercising u will quite likely gain weight as it turns to muscle but at the same time u can lose inches, so altho i weigh heavier i can still fit into the same clothes,,, this could be happening to both u and badger if u have recently stepped up your exercise

i have on occasion tried meat and eggs for a few days to shift a few pounds but its no fun to be honest ,.. maybe we all need to stop worrying about the scale and worry about how we feel in clothes instead... i know i know easier said then done and i am just as guilty

    xx
Thanks shykins. You are right in what you've said, all my clothes still fit as they did before Christmas but the weight just wont shift:confused:

You've also mentioned what i was thinking of doing... I was thinking of just protein shakes and eggs/meat for a few days just to see if it would help:o
If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

    My way is Atkins;)

I started the Dr D diet months ago and have lost over a stone but haven't moved an ounce for about 8 weeks. I have lost inches and my clothes feel a lot better but there must be a link regarding exercising and weightloss (or lack of it) because I have to exercise for hours every day (demand of my job) and I'm sure that's the reason I'm not losing.

I do deserve a good slap.. right in the face:D

I have been very good today tho, mainly because of my loverly sandwich.
    bread is my downfall.
everyone at my table in canteen wanted my sandwich cos it looked so lush. I am concerned tho cos my linseeds are from Tesco and they like someone else's were 37g carbs but 25g fibre.

badger all i can say is i feel for you as i have EXACTLY the same problem, i just cant seem to lose whatever i do...... dont know what program u watched but i understood that fat cells dont ever go once u have them, they do let the fat go but not dont actually go themselves

thing is i KNOW i can weigh less cos i have (albeit i was quite ill) so whats going on now??? i dont know .. i have sorta decided not to weigh cos it jus depresses me so i am goin on the way my clothes feel on me... umm ssorry i am not being much help am i???

Didn't see the prog but a friend did and said you can never lose fat cells unless you have liposuction, once they have liposucked they are gone.. liposuction anyone?

I am thinking of just eating chicken and green veg for a while to give me a kick start, really need to get some of this weight off, do you think there will be any probs with this. I also need to stop the 2 glasses of red wine a nite too well not every nite but i would say 5 out of seven.
