  • angel, you have been an 'angel' :A Well done!!
By the way I like the sound of your peppered steak, but maybe not the sprouts. Have you tried cheesy leeks?! :rotfl:

Ah well I like sprouts! The steak had garlic butter too! Very nice.
Cheesy leeks-yum yes Ive had lots of those!
The swimming has brought my weight back down to 12.2 whereas last couple of days it was 12.3 or 12.4. I found this last time I went swimming too. anyone find this?

    Hi Laydeez and Fellas

Sweet - well done on giving up wine for Lent. Today is my first no peanuts/no choccy day...it will be a breeze....(thinking positive!)

Angel - you are indeed an angel LOL. BTW ...**To much information warning**I find after swimming I always do a huge wee (not in the pool:eek: ), maybe thats the cause of your sudden weightloss, don't know why it affects me in the way but it always does LOL.

Saz - didn't realise that too much veg can stall you?

B - fried egg, ham and tomato
L - Leeks, turnip & celery in chilli sauce with cheese
D - Sausages with veg not sure yet...poss cheesey leeks :rotfl:

I reckon we should start the Leek Appreciation Society. I use them all the time now and very rarely did before LC'ing.

By the way check out my signature...I'm very proud of myself today. Thanks MSE you've changed my life in so many ways:j

Were you still in the pool when you stood on the scales? :rotfl:

thats brilliant avstar.. well done.. veg is higher in carbs than say salad so if u are REALLY eating a lot of say carrots, parsnips etc it could stall you, rather depends on what else u are having and i think what saz is saying is that lots of things have crept in as well as quantities changing

saz so glad the pancakes worked for u, maybe i should give them a try u never know i might like them, tho at moment i have the biscuits i made.... i have also made the bread with ALL almond flour for a more cakey type texture or whizzed some oats up and added that

hmm never weighed before AND after swimming lol

  • WOW - avstar that is fantastic - well done you!!:T That must be a great feeling.*
Yes that was definitely tmi about the big wee!! :rotfl: Can't say it's ever happened to me but it is a very long time since I was brave enough to don a bather (swimsuit for anyone who doesn't know what a bather is!!). It has made me think of trying swimming again though (angel's weight loss, not avstar's big wee!!)
*Feel I should add that I'm congratulating on the debt free bit not the you know what!!:rotfl:
Yes, I'd like to join the Leek Appreciation Society please!! :j
