if u wait for the offers M&S can actually be competititve especially when it comes to the sort of foods we eat as they dont put in all the rubbish and u can expect a higher quality of meat etc.. i bought some burgers there friday 8 for £4 but they were 100& meat and delicious!!!

btw forgot to say i went to chinese buffet last night .. i will say no more except i did not have any rice, noodles etc but <whistle>

  • I got some M & S sausages the other day and they are I think 78% meat and 3.2 g of carbs per sausage. I got them for the kids and even DH who doesnt eat sausages ate those. Not a place I generally shop but I went in for a look around and they were selling 2 packs for £3.
    .

M&S do other sausages that are 98% meat which are normally 2 packs for £4.

They're about 0.5g of carb per sausage (I think) - I buy them for my OH.

3.2g of carbs each is high for meat sausages. ;)

Please forgive me fellow low-carbers, for I have sinned::o
Roast potatoes x 2, yorkshire puds x 2, pieces of toast x 6, steak pie, boiled potatoes x 2, trifle, piece of 'wedding' cake, rolls x 2, packet of crisps, potato wedges, pieces of pizza x 4, cream eggs x 3!!:o
The above doesn't include low-carb items that I ate with all the naughty things. :oIt also doesn't include the profiteroles I intend having today.:o
I'm now going to slink away for a few hours to reflect on my wrong-doings. Will be back tomorrow. :o And it's weigh day tomorrow. _pale_

    What can I say? :rotfl:

I've never found a butcher that does above 80% meat in their sausages ;)

I think/hope it was over a weekend!
  • OK, I'm back early to face the music & I'm soooo ashamed of myself!! :o No, really, I am!!
Just to clarify, I was away for 3 days so this pigathon wasn't all in one day!! Lol!!
    :o
Roast potatoes x 2, yorkshire puds x 2 (had these on Thursday night), pieces of toast x 6 (2 pieces for breakfast over 3 days), steak pie, boiled potatoes x 2, trifle, piece of 'wedding' cake (this was at the party on Friday), rolls x 2, packet of crisps, potato wedges, pieces of pizza x 4 (lunch & dinner yesterday), cream eggs x 3 (no excuses, just wanted them!!):o
Add to that list 2 bowls of HM leek, potato & carrot soup, forgot about them.

I know it's still a carbfest & I can't quite believe I ate that much but I wrote it all down (how sad am I?) so that I could see it all in black & white.

I know it's going to come back & bite me on the bum tomorrow when I get officially weighed - had a sneaky peak today & it was so not good.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day (she said in a Scarlett O'Hara type way) & I WILL BE GOOD!! And if I can't be good I'll keep quiet.
