  • Just made a lovely omelet with mushroom, of which I had frozen and spinach. If was so lush and filling made with 2 eggs

I used to always buy mushroom and never use them up and they went horrible. Now I buy and freeze into little bags so so useful

I get it from Asda or Tesco, usually near the organic / natural yoghurts. It's slightly cheaper in a big tub, but I can't limit the amount I eat unless it's in a small tub!

The 2% fat version (which is the best I can get in small tubs locally) lists as 3.6g per 100g... however, my book says that "live" yoghurt (which it is) only counts half, so it goes on the table at 1.8g. If you can get the full-fat version, it's probably better.

Actually my favourite version is the full-fat goats and sheeps milk one, which from memory is something like 0.8g per 100g... but I can only get that in Waitrose :(

We make our own yoghurt but accidentally ate the last one so had to buy a new starter yoghurt to make the next batch. It was the first time I'd used Greek Yoghurt to start a batch of full cream milk yoghurt and it turned out really well. (nicer in fact that the Coop Greek Yoghurt that was used as the starter) Just in case anyone else isn't aware that you can use bought Greek Yoghurt as a starter culture for home made yoghurt.
