S'not the end of the world, just pick urself up, dust youself off (wipe your mouth) and continue like it never happend.
Ive had a couple of undiluted voddies. Getting over work trauma. Had to make a polite request of my workers (several times politely requested - ignored) into a training opportunity. This involved the guys (both older but with less experience) having to sign and date a Training Form.
We are normally quite easy-going but I couldn't let ignorance continue! Left me feeling uncomfortable. I had tried to get the system in place by being insistant that 'This must be so' and had been assured that it would be (nodding of heads - disengaging of brain too, apparently) Well at least they now know where they stand re me 'asking nicely'
Still dunt feel nice having to do that.
Heyho. Onwards and upwards!

Mercy you seem to be going through a real hard time at work. Just be yourself no matter what way they behave I find work brings our the worst in people but iv found jusr being yourself is always best. It sounds like your dealing with things ok now and if you have to tell them off they will have a bit more respect cause they know what there at and you need to start as you mean to go on.
like that just dust myself down and pretend it didnt happen good idea.:EasterBun:lipsrsealAtkins started 26 Jan 09 so far lost 14lb 7lb to go0 -

hello all, i am new to this thread. I started low carbing 20/01/09 and lost 6lbs in the first 2 weeks. I really enjoy it and find it fairly straight forward, however over the last 2 weeks I have been out on 3 occasions and have consumed alcohol and food carbs (the last being on Saturday), consequently there has been no weight loss (or gain) over the last 2 weeks (i only weigh myself every other tuesday). As I am now "back on track" can I excpect to see some prgress by march 3rd?
Great thread by the way ! Jim.0 -

iv been on this diet for about 3 weeks and lost abut 11lb so far. I haven't lost this week but have had a few bad days.
Are you on any particular diet like atkins as the advice i got was choose one and stick to it or else it gets confusing and everyone on here is on different diets so it gets quite confusing and sometimes I end up eating what others are eating. very good on your weight loss so far - wish i could stick to weighing myself as little as you do i break the rules and am on the scales all the timeAtkins started 26 Jan 09 so far lost 14lb 7lb to go0 -

I work with about 40 blokes, no women. Most are ok but I sometimes think they switch off when I speak because that is how they treat the other women in their lives
I like to jolly along but not afraid to put my foot down. The 1 good thing is that I'm top of my game and have much more experience than most of my co-workers. Dragging them back from the brink of disaster and effortlessly saving the day can have mixed effects but mostly good. :rotfl:
I hate nagging as no-one listens to a nag. (except shykins, obviously:D )
So as soon as I feel I'm nagging they get 1 chance. Just wish they'd listen in the first place and make life smoother
Ta chuck!

lol mercy not sure if i should be upset or pleased at the nagging comment!!....am having real issues with a so called friend at the moment and its getting to me .. u sometimes wonder whether its worth these people in yr life and i am having to put my foot down as i refuse to be walked over so i kinda can relate to what u are saying
hi jim good to meet u well done on yr initial loss, as long as u get straight back to it u should be losing again soon, as u have found going back to carbs has a detrimental effect... as stacey says let us know which plan u are following so we can give u the correct advice
stacey i would of thoght seeing good weight loss results would give u a lift and therefore help with depression... i am no expert but i cant see how it would make u feel worse
