Someone recently told me that panacotta is just double cream and gelatin - you might be surprised how low-carb it turns out to be! Unless it's crammed with sugar of course...
I just read a packet of Turkish Delight - 100% carbs! BrilliantMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Hi all-Ive just found you and Ive started Atkins this week! I did do it before and lost nearly 2 stone. I want to lose about 2 and a half this time. I should have carried on counting but I fell off the wagon. I tried again last year but stopped during induction with leg cramps. Ive read the book again and this time I am armed with calcium, magnesium and potassium suplements which are meant to prevent/reduce this. Hoping to stay on induction for 4 weeks then move onto OWL. Im feeling better already-losing the bloated belly and the puffiness and Ive got more energy. If anyone has any good foods to suggest-things I can add to meat or fish do tell me.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Well I'm off to Hull in an hour so probably won't be posting for a few days. I'll be politely partaking in my Aunt's cooking when I arrive! So the only low-carb meal I've booked for today is:
- Breakfast, stirfried brocolli, oyster mushroom and braised tofu
Problem is I reeaaaaaaaally don't fancy it, especially at this time in the morning  It needs eating up, so I might leave it out for the chickens and make myself some almond/coconut porridge instead...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Hi Angelatgraceland and welcome.
What exactly do you mean by 'foods' to add to meat or fish? Do you mean a sauce? or vegetables? or something instead of pastry? I'm probably not the best one to advise but I was a bit confused by your query.(but it doesn't take a lot to confuse me!)

Badger, if you're still there, take it easy on the roads and say hello to the family for me. And if your Aunt says just once that she has tried to put on weight and it is impossible, tell her about that programme on TV where they doubled their calorie intake with chocolate and cakes and tell her that she just isn't trying hard enough!Vegetarian. Morning, all
Brrrr, it's cold this morning! I poured warm water all over my car at 8am - and by 8.40, when I left to take DDs to work, it had iced up again.
Yesterday's menu:
B: none
L: salad with corned beef, green beans, hard-boiled egg and mayosteak with Stilton sauce, spinach
I also had a teensy visit to the pub last night and my head is a bit woolly this morning.I think their wine must have been off.
I'm all on my own this evening!OH is away and DDs are both being taken out for romantic dinners by their boyfriends.
I might treat myself to a butter chicken from the Indian, and perhaps make LC onion bhajis if I can be bothered.
Wrap up warm, everyone, and hope you all have a nice evening if you're going out.0 -
Only trip I have planned is to the football this afternoon with DD and my mum - have to find somewhere for food at lunch time as DD always has a treat out when its match day.
HC - it's amazing how much wine goes off these daysyou'd think they'd take more care wouldn't you
Have a good day everyone and wish me luck that I don't get frozen to the seat this afternoon!0 -
