How is life with you today, aliasojo?
Better thanks.I'm just back from a long walk along the seafront and I now have 'Christmas Elf' cheeks. All bright red. :rotfl:
My OH (who I am seriously not speaking to at the moment) is in the kitchen baking shortbread with my son and the smell is doing my head in so I may end up going for yet another walk along the seafront.
I was soooo pleased with myself last night. Our visitor had a bottle of wine and I didn't even so much as sniff the cork!. Yay! *polishes halo*
I had more fat yesterday so I do think Tink was right and I just hadn't been eating enough.
I still haven't caught up on all the posts so 'hi' to any newbies I've missed and hope everyone is doing ok and has a good weekend.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Have just found the "Ted" pickies!!! Told you I was on my way through! :rolleyes:0

Hey everyone, is this just for atkins or for other low carb programmes? I have been doing go lower for 2.5 weeks and lost 10lbs so far, low carb is the way to go! Today I have had go lower clusters with cream, broccoli and blue cheese soup and got chicken curry with cauliflower "rice" for tea. Xx0

Hey Chickbabes, all are welcome!
I've had another funny day, been cleaning out the chickens and punishing the cat, getting ready for a long drive tomorrow...
Breakfast - tofu and mushroom scramble
Lunch - choc-hemp pudding
Tea - cheese and low-carb crackers
I've also baked a large batch of almond-blueberry muffins to take with me tomorrow, thought my vegetarian health-conscious Aunt might appreciate them! My cousin whose birthday it is will have the chocolates I was given - bit naughty I know but she'll appreciate them much moreMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
chickbabes, Go Lower costs £46.50 a week! Why would you pay that when you can low-carb eating normal food?
Unless (and my profuse apologies if I'm wrong) you are somehow affiliated with them...?0 -
Hi all,
Welcome Kissitbetta and Chickbabes. I don't envy you reading through all this lot. I didn't have the time so only read a few previous pages before i 'came out'.
As you can see from my siggy thingy, I'm vegetarian and just generally low-carbing. It seems to be working for me so I shall keep it up. I haven't had to change much in my diet so it hasn't been difficult. I'm only losing slowly but that's fine with me, as long as it keeps going in the right direction.:D
:EasterBun Badger, couldn't resist this one with your mention of choccies!Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.0 -
