    Good morning my lovlies :hello:

How are we all today? I slept well - I can't believe how much better I am sleeping on this low-carb regime. And I have had poor sleep for goodness knows how long.

Well Elona, I too was wondering what to have for breakfast - on a whim i decided to fry some flat mushrooms and some slices of chorizo - and omg it's really tasty! Definitely recommend it:) It's funny - I was very similar - cramming cereal and/or toast in my mouth - not just for breakfast either; all times of the day and night:o and couldn't understand why I was permanently hungry.... err, hello, insulin?!

I am meeting my mum at 1pm to have a gander round M&S and a natter as well no doubt:) so looking forward to that.

Well done Gillette! :j :D First few days are definitely weird - I know I felt really strange the first week... or maybe I should say even stranger than usual:D On the drinks front could you perhaps try a few other herbal teas? I have to say I'm not a fan of them myself, but fennel tea is nice. Or unsweetened lemon or fresh mint tea - hot or iced? Or sparkling water with ice and a squeeze of lemon or lime, as someone else here suggested?

    Take care everyone:)

    Much love,

    Hi Sazbo

I had some berries and cream at about 10 and am only just starting to feel hungry now which is unheard of for me!

Have lemon drizzled baked salmon with broccoli and cauli, maybe asparagus as well for a late Sunday lunch. Have baked stuffed mushrooms for DD(19) and also baking some spicy chicken thighs and low carb sausages so I have something to pick at later. Also have organic new potatoes for those not on low carb.

DD(14) has entered a competition with some friends to win a makeover in London so have implored some of the old stylers to vote for her. I was not sure where to put the link and did not want to be accused of "spamming!"

flat mushroms with chopped up stalks and ham in the wells (or pate), slice of cheese on top cooked under the grilll drooollll

oh and u dont have to fry everything if u dont want it done that way then just cook it how u usually would, i rarely fry

Enjoyed a late lunch at 4 o clock and am now polishing off a few strawberries and some double cream! Have a coffee with cream with it - Yum!

DH looked aghast at my breakfast this morning but I pointed out it was within the plan and it was worth seeing how I did before criticising it. Why, the minute you start to do any kind of eating plan does everyone feel compelled to comment unfavourably? Especially if it is low carb!

Thanks for offering to vote for DD. I have p.m. d a link.

If it does not work there is a working link on my post in the Old Style Board.

What could be more old style than cheering on your daughter?

Before anyone asks it is not a career or theatrical thing - just a bit of fun- I have no intention of turning into Mrs Worthington a la Noel Coward!:rotfl:

    Hi everyone :hello:

Had a nice day. Looked round M&S with mum. Bought a nice summery skirt - white with a blue flower pattern on it - will be nice for my holiday in Cornwall next month :D

Shykins we also did the M&S two eat for £10 - had chicken with a mozzarella and pesto melt and oven-roasted veggies... and i donated the fresh fruit salad and bottle of wine to my folks lol. Was very tasty tho.

Wow it's getting on for 8pm and it's still hot. Feels like it wants to rain, but don't think it will. Think I'll put the kettle on.

    Much love to all,
