if have either muffins for brekkie, or some kind of eggs with cheese and mushrooms. so a cheese omelette (made with double cream and a bit of water), or scrambled eggs, or veggie sausages and fried eggs with mushrooms fried in butter.

lunch will be ceasar salad, or tuna salad, or cheese salad with coleslaw. i always either have caesar dressing or mayo with the salad.

dinner is usually some kind of fish with vegetables, or low carb cauli and broccoli cheese

(i had ceasar style green veg from M&S last night with 2 seabass fillets - it was divine and took all of 5 minutes to cook)

So explain please. If I am trying to keep carbs extemely low.
If I am going to eat some chicken for lunch.
    You are saying add salad.
So would you reduce the chicken amount?
Or eat the salad as well?
And salad is carbs so does this mean I have to have less salad with my evening meal?

Well my understanding of the Atkins induction phase is that you are allowed 2 cups of salad and a cup of veg every day - this is in addition to Atkins allowing "liberal amounts" of meat, chicken, fish and eggs. Shykins mentioned in a post yesterday that 2 cups is loads of salad so you dont even need to measure it.

Had bacon and eggs for breakfast and have a big bowl of home made coleslaw in the fridge for later.

Was trying earlier but DD started reading over my shoulder and really put me off.

Going to have a shower and then get changed and go for a walk!

I have been out and spent £82!!
The first half of the conveyor was pink.....meat and fish.
The second half was green.....veg and salad.

I have bought these crispbread things for fibre.

I am worried about my salt intake too shykins.....bacon was just conveinient and quick coz I've been at work.

I have 5 days off now to set myself up for this properly.

I skipped breakfast (norty I know but I'd got nothing in except more bacon) but I've just had 2 crispbreads (6g of carbs but it will give me some MUCH NEEDED fibre) with butter and cheese on...3 sliced of cooked beef, a small chicory, some romaine lettice, 1/4 cucumber with a spoonful of french mayo.

I do need to neck some water today....I'm slipping a bit today but I've just drunk a pint with my lunch.

    Afternoon everyone!

Elona - did you enjoy your walk yesterday? Shykins - how was the motor show? Gillette - sounds like a mighty fine shopping haul to me:) And as you say, having some time off will give you a chance to acclimatise a bit more to the diet. But you're doing really well I think :T

I really need to prise my behind off this chair and go make some coleslaw and flax bread... it won't make itself will it?:D

Got some veggies I want to roast in the oven later too, for dinner. Maybe with a small piece of steak.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Love,
    Sazzy xxxx

    Don't worry....I'm on the case.
The crispbreads were the lo carb g-g things.
I'm only going to have one a day. I only had 2 today because my "problem" is so extreme.
The cooked beef has NIL carb and the ham was the lowest one too.
I am reading the carbs on everything i buy.

    Ta x
