The salad sounds all right to me!
I have just copied down the recipe for cheesecake!:j
Had salmon fillet with cauliflower for tea, and will have a few raspberries with greek yoghurt later.
DH is taking us all to visit relatives on Saturday and will be getting us all takeaway fish and chips as it has become a tradition. I might just ask for a fish and take the batter off and bring a small salad or coleslaw from home."This site is addictive!"

oh trust me u are well within yr allowance if thats all u ate.. be careful about the pepper tho cos the sweet ones are quite high in carbs
why dont u hardboil some eggs and cook bacon the night before then eat both cold on your way out... i used to do like mini omelettes to eat cold the next day too, oh and cold sausages are nice (make sure you buy the 'finest' type sausages and check the carb counts)
non alcoholic drinks well thats easy... diet coke or tonic water

I wouldn't touch diet coke - it is REALLY bad for weightloss. There's a whole chapter on it in the IPD.
And the caffeine won't help either!0 -

Diet drinks bloat me up. Won't touch em as they negate the great, non bloated shape I have from following a low carb dietStill have my caffeine (strong black coffee, no sugar) but I'm looking to maintain rather than lose weight.

I nursed a bottle of sparkling water....and watched everyone else get ratted on cocktails, beer and champagne.
But when I got in I had lots of yummy bacon.Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.
I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else0 -

To explain.
I have been low carb for 5 months. (never went without but sticking to pulses n cider. No bread, rice, pasta, spuds, sugar. Mostly) At month 3 I had not lost any weight but my waist and hips had shrunk by 2 inches and my boobs had grown by 1.5 inches! Imagine my glee! (trust me, every little helps
) At month 5, body shape same
and lost 4 pounds.
It Works! and it's the only thing that does. No calorie worries, no bloat, no punishing myself!
Occasional hangover, but I had them anyway.
Yipeeeee!0 -
oh i do agree about the coke i was just trying to come up with the least damaging to his diet carbwise, i cant bear any of the diet drinks myself now they all taste too sweet for me and as u say are NOT good for u
well done on the sparkling water!!!! see how determine u are already and i bet u had a laugh at them all drunk
pork scratchings well ok for maintenance but not for when u are starting out, stick to the HB eggs and bacon
right off to pack a picnic for motor show.. have a good day everyone
