Thank you to the poster who suggested I put in a tablespoon of vinegar into my hm coleslaw It really made a difference, just like shop bought. I grated a lump of cheese in as well mmmmmmmmm. This hot weather is finding me hiding inside trying to keep cool, sweating like a fat lass at a dance. I need to go to the shops, but got nothing decent to wear to keep cool. Will go this evening when sun gone in. Brings it home to me how I must get this weight off. The peeps on here who have lost loads of weight must be so glad they did when its hot like this.

Better than shop-bought, I think - it's freshly made - and you know what's gone into it;)

I do know how you feel about the hot weather... and when it's humid too that's worse I think. Still, think how lovely and slim we'll be next summer!

We have been out for most of the day visiting elderly relatives near Whitby.

I had a really good day and managed to stick to the plan, except for a (tiny) piece of chocolate cake that had been bought specially.

Drank lots of water and have just had some mackeral salad so fingers crossed.

I was going to go for a long walk yesterday as my youngest was getting on my nerves a bit.

We made up and spent the afternoon shopping for a party dress for her as well as a birthday present for her friend.

Anyone who has ever gone shopping for a special occassion dress will know how relieved I was when we found something that she loved!!

By the time we had gone round about 9 shops I got quite a good walk!

    Morning

Sitting at the computer with a pot of tea thinking what I want for breakfast.

Strange thing is that a couple of weeks ago there would have been no thinking involved. I would just have crammed cereal or toast into my mouth convinced I was starving and then continued to "pick" all day, seldom feeling full.

Might make an omelette and need to go shopping for vegetables later.

I am nearly down a skirt size so want to keep going.

As I am 5 foot 8 inches and big boned (I measured wrists and ankles) I have decided not to aim for a very low weight that is unrealistic and just keep to the plan, see skirts etc. get looser and maybe aim for size 16 as a goal, then see how I feel.

    Hi everyone,
    I have lost some weight!!!
I am 1lb lighter than when I started. My brain was in meltdown last week....it may have been the weirdness you get while your brain switches over to fat burning. I apologise if I was disruptive on the thread. And a special friend on here is owed a HUGE apology and hug xxx

I went to bed early last night and with Mon-Wed off next week I am feeling lively and awake. I've been up since 8:30 washing the oil off the walls (all this frying LOL). I think I am going back to my George Formby grill for cooking but I will add butter/Oil/mayo to meals to get my fat (plus eat the fat on the meat).

My fishy water phobia has been broken as well. I'm drinking loads of it. Pint and a half already today. And I haven't had tea or coffee for 4 days. I was sitting next to someone on the tube friday who had a starbucks. The smell was driving me mad. But if I'm honest I'm not realy missing it unless confronted by it. Long term though I can see I need to find more things to drink. That's the only part of this diet that I find I am having to force sticking to. I am such a meat face that the eating part is no problem.

Anyway, I have a house to clean coz I have guests coming to stay tomorrow for a few days. They aren't that discerning but I have my minimum standards.

    Have a great day everyone
    xx
