thanks for the advice i may go for Dr B and who is Dr D please, ill have a look at that. I was a weight watchers gold card holder:rotfl::rotfl: means i reached my goal so im not that over weight. I dont like being to thin so i only want to lose enough to fit into the clothes which are a bit tight at the mo.

I would like to look womanly not athletic. But yeah its good were in this limbo toghther :rotfl:

hope you get the motivation u need too. What about a day of fasting to kick start yourself. It might kick start the weight loss. Or i find (such a good dieter lol) that reading more will help. This forum has really helped me tonight.
Dr Dahlqvist is Swedish but she has her programme in English on her blog. Sorry, no link, just google it or Saz gave me a link a cpl pages ago. Anyway, it's only 1 page, so have a read and see wot you think.......:D

    Hi guys!

This week has been a disaster. Foolish horseplay at work by collegue has left me with a recurrance of a knee injury on Weds. Yesterday we fell out big time, he's still winding folk up and I was under pressure as finishing at lunchtime. Heartless things said and I spent the afternoon getting v drunk, eating chocolat and feeling q sorry for myself. Basically this bloke has ruined my weekend, put me in pain and I'm supposed to put up with it as he didn't intend the results.

    Breathe.

If I don't post too much will be busy and angry so back when I won't bring you all down.

    Take care

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

    Hello my lovelies :hello:

Wow, bit of a tough time we've all been having lately :-/ Big hugs to all who need them and what the hell, to all those who don't need them as well :)

Cripes it was cold out there this morning. We managed to get into work today unfortunately lol was rather hoping we could string out working from home for another day but sadly not. Although driving in those conditions was so stressful, poor gilly was frazzled before he'd even got to work.

Well, another week another zero amount of weight lost:rolleyes: but well done to all those who have - it keeps me inspired! :T

Nipped into sainsbury's this morning on the way in. Picked up a f/r chicken that was on offer. Picked up Cadbury's Options chocolate mousse and put it back:rolleyes: Oh, and for those of you who can have them, their fresh blueberries are BOGOF at the moment. Also, their own brand organic 85% cocoa solids chocolate is 16% carbs (1.4gms per sq), whereas Green & Blacks and Lindt is 19%. And it's cheaper too :money: That concludes the grocery report lol!

b: slice of flax bread with cheese and a sausage
l: tuna and mozzerella salad from Pret - bit extravagant I know, but couldn't be *rsed to make lunch last night:o
d: prob roast beef and sliced green beans

Mercy - don't let the barstewards get you down hun xx Don't worry you can always let off steam here we don't mind:)

Badger lady - hope everything's calmed down at home and that you and baby are feeling better.

Stacey - keep going! we can do this! :j

Much love to all....... it's fridaaaay, yay!!!!!!:D

  • Mercy- Hope you reported the sod to your mgr  Don't feel bad about the choc binge, I would've done the same probably. Cos if it were a choice between scoffing and caving his head in, I would count to 10 then choose the option that wouldn't lose me my job!

Pls can someone explain this to me (at risk of sounding dense here!) I've just eaten a Sugar Less bar of choc but it still has 48.5g carbs/100g (of which sugars 9.6g) If there's no sugar and only a.sweeteners (maltitol&lactitol), and of course cocoa butter and milk powder, where have all those carbs come from? Surely not all from cocoa butter and milk..... Needless to say, I checked after scranning it! :rotfl: Oh dear.....I learn the hard way, as ever.

milk is VERY high in carbs (lactose is a sugar).

You know that advert on tv where the young lad is about to throw a tantrum in the supermarket but the Mum throws herself on the floor and does it for him herself, lol........well that's the way I feel right now.

I'm having a hard time today and I'm craving Atkins bars. I have a headache and I can sense a bad mood slowly coming on. It's getting to 'that' time so I know what the problem is but knowing it doesn't help dealing with it.

I need to go shopping but I'm worried I'll buy crap and wine. I know myself too well. 5 weeks in and I'm pleased I've managed to get this far but I'm struggling this afternoon now.

I do not want to be fat in the Summer! I want to sleep until then cos this is too hard sometimes.

*goes off to sob in the corner*

:o sorry for self indulgent mode being switched on there.

  • alias, you are just having a bad day, it happens to the best of us!!
Have you been eating a lot of these Atkins bars? 3 at a time for instance?! Lol!! I just think there must be something in them that makes you want more, more, more!! I've never tried them & tbh I'm not going to because I'm worried I get addicted. Could you try the HM peanut/choc recipe instead, just to satisfy your craving for something sweet?
I was watching an old 'You are what you eat' last night & the lady on there had awful PMT (snap!!) - Dr. Gillian suggested she was lacking in essential fatty acids. I'm going to look into that as I have a rotten time with PMT. Not sure what foods have EFA? I'm assuming things like salmon/other fish?
Anyway, hope you feel better soon & have a [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] glass of wine if you want one!!
