Badger - you may need to eat more, not less. If you starve yourself your body will hang onto every calorie you consume.
Try eating a bit more for a few days and see what happens
I eat porridge as it's quick and I'm pushed for time in the morn. Besides, bacon, sausage, even omelette, all make me wanna hurl at 6am!!! No-one ever got fat eating porridge for brekkie.0 -
funny old day today which meant my eating throughout the day was all over the place and led me to have about 4 snacks instead of lunch
b - bacon and egg
snacks - 1 clementine 1 chicken drumstick then another chicken drumstick an hour and a half later small cheese salad 1 cracker and butter
d - sausages and veg - brocolli green beans roasted celeriac and 4 tiny bits of carrot for colour
eating a square of dark choccie for dessert
the snacks were over a 4 1/2 hour period - didnt just stuff the entire kitchen in my gob in one go !! trouble is i then get too hungry so eat more than is needed .....
it was because i went straight into the gym when i finished work so lunch timing was all wrong !!:j MFi3 wannabee :j
mortgage owing 04.07 £36,000
mortgage owing 07.10 £0 !!!!

Took me a while to get used to eggs for breakfast every day (but not too early)
Surely porridge sends your blood sugar up and then you crash later in the morning0 -

Thanks Tinkers. I think I may try Rose Elliot's 14-day induction plan once I get back from birthdays (it's mine on Monday and then I'm off for my cousin's the weekend after). The only part of it I'm unsure of is stopping caffeine - I only started drinking green tea to boost weightloss!
Oh yeah, and I'm not sure whether the chickens will quite be able to keep up with me - it seems that Rose is recommending at least 3-4 eggs per dayMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
just went off and made some meat loaf for tomorrow so ill keep you all posted as to what its like i made some pancacke's and have a ham stepping in water for baking tomorrow sliced ham is so expensive.
Another thing i notice is im very thirsty all the time.
And another thing :rotfl: this diet is not moneysaving:money: its costing me a fortune i think i only have food for about 4 days!!!! and £110 it would usually last a fortnight.Atkins started 26 Jan 09 so far lost 14lb 7lb to go0 -
Funny you should say that Stacey cos I'm always wondering where my next drink is coming from too... except when I get to work I'm glued to my desk so constantly waiting for someone else to get them in! :rotfl:
Not MSE at all - actually I only started saving money with the Intermittent Fasting. Suddenly my food budget was halved!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

I have consistently lost and haven't had caffeine for over 12 months.0
