just very down hearted with it at the moment as been - or so i thought - pretty much on plan for the last 4 weeks
Daisy, I know how you feel. I gained 12lb over the festive season and when I started back on the plan, I lost 7lb the first week, 0lb the second week, 0lb the third week and GAINED 3LB on the forth week:eek: .
I was sticking to the plan but after having a chat to shykins (my saviour:beer: ) and recieving a post from another low carber, I found out I was going a bit over board with the cream and cheese:o. I was sticking to the limits but it was obviously too much for my body. I have cut back on these this week (and I also stopped drinking sparkling water as that was the only other thing I could think of) and the weight seems to have come off this week. I will weigh tomorrow morning to confirm;) (the battery was dead in my scales this morning:rolleyes: ). I'm sure if you have the same problem next week, someone on here will come up with the answer for you;) . Don't give up:)
If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.
My way is Atkins0 -
Just done that Mercy. Fingers crossed.
You'l be amazed at the results! Either they'l come up with the goods or you get to spend again. Will take 8 days or so if they don't come good but you should get your cash back.

Food for thought indeed!
What if mascarpone is my staller?
Could be, kinda hit it hard last 2 weeks which matches uncomfortably with my stalling then gaining a pound. Oh poo!
Heyho. Will av to just eat Bakewell tart rather than choc dessert and check it out. No REAL hardshipand the mascarpone in my fridge is safe til end of march:rotfl:

:j GENERAL ALL POINTS BROADCAST! :j
Think the idea posited earlier in this thread that we all add our plan to our signature would be a great idea. Will automatically give us all some reference point.
For example.
Many of us eat fruit regularly but this is not for everyone, it all depends on what plan / Way Of Eating we are following.
This can lead to confusion and possibly an unnecessary stall if we misinterpret what we are reading.
Let's help ourselves and others (if not already doing so) by being clear about our choices.
Just a thort

Go to forum jump (at bottom of any forum page)
Go to the top to 'user control panel'
Then over on the left 'edit signature'
you get to put what you want - within reason - in there
Glad u up 4 it, let there be many
