Poledancing lessons! So much funI picked it up "like a natural" apparently, and can already feel the effect on my muscles. Main feeling is in my arms, which is great cos that's always been a problem area for me...

Badger, my 18-year-old DD keeps talking about pole-dancing lessons. She thinks she might earn more money pole-dancing than working in Waitrose during uni, thereby reducing her loan, and she adores the idea of a pole-dancing physicist! I'm not too thrilled at the thought, but in a way that contrast really appeals to me too. :rotfl:
B: none
L: I will draw a discreet veil over thissteak burger with Danish blue and cream mushed up on the top and melted, spinach
I rarely eat nuts because if I have one, I have to have twenty. :eek:0 -
erm lunch pls HC - pray tell !!
i think im going to be the same as shy where nuts are concerned - had a fair few things with almond flour in recently ( cheesecake pizza chocci pudding ) and as i mentioned vaguely in passing the other day () i hadnt lost at all in the last couple of weeks - so going to knock anything nutty on the head for a while and see .......

The lesson was great fun and nothing seedy about it at all - as a form of exercise I think it's more than acceptable now.
With regards to earning money from it, it's possible to get your fortune but she must be very choosey about where she works. I've been to "gentlemen's clubs" and chatted to the girls there (Mum don't read this bit!) about training / auditioning etc, but they all did lap-dancing as well and although it wasn't mentioned I got the impression things could go further.
The girls with experience had no respect for their own bodies and, I hate to say it, but they really were old slappers! The guy in charge reminded me of a pimp - he seemed to recruit girls on the basis of innocent dancing but then gradually get them more and more into their work...
If you can find a venue where it's literally pole dancing on a stage in a large venue and nothing else, brilliant - she can get up to £100 a night and pay her way through Uni no problem!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Good advice, Badger, thank you. I agree with you about the slippery slide into lap-dancing and that's what worries me. I'm open-minded, pragmatic and relaxed about these things, but I really would rather she stayed away from the very sleazy end of things.
Daisy, I could tell you about my lunch but then I'd have to kill you.*
* McDonald's. WHY do I do these things??0 -
Well, I've had a reasonable day, I meant to exercise, but forgot:rolleyes:
B- scrambled egg and mushrooms
L- coronation chicken with bacon and lettuce
S- Beef, cauli and cabbage with a small amount of cheese sauce:)If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.:whistle:
My way is Atkins0
