  • Hi dudies, well had 1st day at new job today and it was good, as in, no disasters happened! LOL So my menu for today;

B- porridge (soya milk) with cinnamon and chopped apple.
L- sausage and egg mayo salad. 2 tangerines.
D-makin shepherd's pie, with a mashed turnip and carrot topping, cauli and peas.
    snacks- cheese, banana

Badger- thanks for enlightening me, heehee!

There are no temptations in this staff room, which is a BIG BONUS, as it's a case of "the body's willing but the mind is weak" with me when surrounded by chocs and biscuits on my break!:D Already going on works night out on Wed to a Mexican. How will I have chicken fajitas with no wraps? Yikes. A challenge but lots of protein potential! :p

Oo, is that me?? I'll answer anyway :D Yes, good thanks - nice and early in the day, and salary was a mid-way compromise between what they were aiming for and what I was aiming for, so just as expected really. And a nice rise from what I'm used to!

Just negotiating redundancy terms now (from my old job) which could be interesting... and buying a moped of course!

Well I did get hungry at lunchtime so I ate my dinner then... and I'm still full up now! So I'm gonna restart my intermittent fasting from now on... for those who don't know, that's no eating until 6pm tomorrow, then eat when I like until 6pm the next day...
Hi sorry Badger i'm not brilliant on computor but getting better glad Job offer was good , Its good to hear in all the doom and gloom at the moment there are jobs out there congratulations :T

Hi sue, thanks for your help. I only have oopsies once a week, do you think it could have that much effect? How often were you eating them?

EDIT: Just had a thought, if you had problems with oopsies, then maybe its the wraps (pancakes) I make for my lunch. I have them every day. They are less than 1 carb each but have similar ingredients to the oopsies (cream cheese, cream and eggs) . I wonder:think:
Hi yes try cutting out both for a few days then weigh yourself ,I weigh each day i find thats the best thing for me sometimes to many vegtables sends my weight up worth tweeking :j

    1) i have a very sweet tooth- is there anything sweet which is very low carb or has anyone found anything they think is a god send?

    2) is there a carb calculator anyone uses or has found to work out eaxactly what everything contains.

The vast majority of women require 5000 units per day, males 6000 units per day to maintain a blood level in the desirable range. (I aim for 60-70 ng/ml.)
    1) i have a very sweet tooth- is there anything sweet which is very low carb or has anyone found anything they think is a god send?
I found I lost my craving for sweet stuff fairly soon after going low carb.

    Fitday?

I must admit I never did count carbs and never did an induction period.

hi ames nice to have u with us, as ted has shown lowcarb is good for polycystic ovaries so it should help a lot with that, as for a sweet tooth well the more u feed it the harder it is to get rid of, personally i always think u should go cold turkey and do without

also u lot what did i say earlier about sweet stuff?? huh uh what did i say, were u not readin?? do i have to slap again?

fitday is great u can list your foods and it gives u a count of carbs etc, be aware tho it is american and u need to deduct the fibre count from the carbs to get your net

cant say exercise makes me hungry but then as we all know i am weird lol
