Welcome Potty!
Think we're going to have to call you Potty cos saying noodle makes me want to eat them:rotfl:
Just cutting out (or down) on the beer will make a huge difference, and your menus seem fine so far. Good luck:D0 -
Hi all - no post yesterday as I had the mother of all migranes that nicely lasted til 11pm last night.
Food today:
B: BLT
L: ham, cheese, mushroom and spring onion omelettechicken and veg
Also had a long walk today (approx 4mile) due to taking dog to vet to see what they are going to do about his dodgy knees - think I might go and see her and see what she can do for mine as well.0 -
good glad u all took the slap to heart so no more of this only rubbish ok??
potty welcome blimey 20pts stop that and u will prob find the weight falls off even without lowcarb so yr goal should be doable WITH lowcarb
saz glad gilly is still with us even if he is a little poorly
i would think sundried toms would be pretty high in carbs as the sugar intensifies in them, guess depends on how much u intend using
ok off for a rest all this slapping is wearing especially when u feel crap and havent eaten for 2 days lol

Hi Potty (smiley wavey icon but i can't do it!)
I also started last week, so good luck and keep at it! I will be 50 this year:eek: I knew I couldn't do anything about that but I didn't want to be 50 and fat and I could do something about that so here goes (for both of us!)
Just put the sun-dried tomatoes in a kilner jar and topped up with olive oil. Delish! May have to be economical with them though.lol.Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.0 -
Welcome, Potty, and good luck! You've made a great start so here's to the next few months . I'm partial to the odd (ahem!) glass of wine myself, so good luck with your cutting down on the booze. I didn't have any alcohol for the first five weeks of the diet but I now do misbehave occasionally.
You've got loads of time to lose weight for your wedding and I'm sure you'll do it!0 -
Welcome Potty you can do this the weight will fall of you if you cut that beer , My father years ago was 26 stone and allways managed several pints a day i then started a diet that cut all bread spuds and carbs out and lost 2 stone for ny wedding ,Dad joined me and lost 12 stones over the next year , I'm going back to 1976 the year you were born (I have a son whos 30 this year) IT was allways the way to diet then you did not have all the low fat rubbish thats in supermakets now that makes the diet industry very wealthy !! Goodluck you will find great suport on here and we all want to see some wedding photos :j0
