It's a senior marketing management position for a small but very well-known business... a brand new role so they need a "self-starter", which I sooooooooo am! Ask anyone...
To be honest, I think my stress levels are getting silly now - I can cope with any decision but to just keep me hanging on - it almost feels like a stalling tactic now... I've had a chesty cough ever since November and am pretty sure it's developed into a chest infection thanks to all the stress - have got a Dr appointment tomorrow to check it out.
Thanks for your support Pilly and everyone else! At least on the positive side I got a new chicken today (found it wandering around the office carpark...)Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Yeah, I know. Am gonna have productive day tomorrow and do some prep for my new job which I start next week, some real reading not flipping browsing on-line!
Also gonna get some new shoes for my Graduation this Thurs. My friends are coming down from Newcastle and I'm gonna treat them to a full on Paleo tea (heehee) with cauli rice (heehee!), they don't know this yet of course!! :rotfl:
Am watching this sad programme about people in financial trouble due to present climate. Tomorrow my boyfriend finds out if he's being made redundant. So it's a bit crap in this house as well! Am just glad I'm in the healthcare sector, so I'm safe, but we've recently moved in together and it's a real worry.0 -

Morning, all
Haven't have much time to post lately, but have been reading through all the posts I've missed. Badger_Lady, well done on the third interview. It certainly does sound as though they're mucking you about a bit, so I just hope they don't keep you waiting for a decision much longer.
Yesterday
B: none
L: chicken, bacon and feta salad, with LC Caesar dressingsteak burger with melted blue cheese, asparagus
I was also desperate for glass of wine last night, but I managed to resist too (that must be a first).
Tried to be good yesterday as I feel I might be slipping into eating too-big portions. I like to feel full but not stuffed, and I want to make sure the weight loss continues, albeit slowly. Might go back to induction for a few days next week, if necessary.
Have a good day, everyone.0 -
:hello:Thanks for all the 'welcomes' everyone.:D
3rd day on Atkins just starting. So far have done very well, but I do miss bread and coffee with sugar and milk. But I know that they were the caused of most of my weight problems along with the regular binge eating.
Badger Lady - sorry to hear you are being so messed about, hope it all gets sorted out soon.
Daisy - My husband is in IT Recruitment and it seems happen all the time that the employers suddenly change their mind on what they want in a candidate, way down the interview process.
Pilly - did you get round to watching Supersize vs Superskinny? I watched it and thought the idea of putting two people with opposite problems together was a bit strange to begin with but I think it actually worked (at least for the two involed). I just wish the program makers would not keep repeating everything.
Yesterday
B scrambled eggs
L chicken salad with mayo
D Homemade burger with mozzerla and salad and mayo
Didn't feel hungery all day! Not drinking enough water thought so must make more of an effort with that.
I'm determined to make this work. I lost about 4st three years ago on Lighter Life but I made the big mistake of not sorting out my eating habits (which I new I should). I had never got down to my goal weight before I start sneakly eating again (for those who don't know it is a meal replacement diet , soups and shakes - no normal food at all)
I always had it in my mind that I would start the diet again to get down to the target weight so I didn't bother about what I was eating. Such a silly thing to choose to do. This time I see this diet as a 'way of eating' .

Morning everyone, day 10.
Menu for today:
B - 2 pork medallions & fried egg
L - Salad (not sure what yet)
D - Stewed steak with broc/cauli & leek
Pud - to be decided
Snacks - cheese & salted peanuts
Went on the wii fit this morning, only managed 10 minutes before the batteries died (blame the kids!!). Told me I hadn't been on for 73 days  but that I had lost 11lbs since then!!:j (Lost some weight before Christmas by not eating crisps, choc, cakes etc. but obviously my 6lb loss last week has added to it!!) Anyway, it then told me I was obese & that I should really do something about it:rotfl: Talk about giving with one hand & taking away with the other!!:rotfl:

Yellow, I watched Supersize v Superskinny last night & was shocked that the supersize lady had a bmi of 61?! Compare that to the skinny 17!! My bmi is in the 30's so I know I'm not one to talk but I was really shocked. Anyway, thought both ladies were really nice & they looked loads better at the end of the programme.0
