I have zero energy to the point that my legs are aching at rest, no appetite and am struggling to eat what I'm supposed to.
Help!!
I've had scrambled eggs (yuk) and berries today.
I'm craving cereal but don't want to ruin whatever withdrawal I've already achieved - and don't want those headaches again!
What should I do?
Move in with me...
Seriously though AB, be good to yourself for a bit lovely. You've got a lot going on, so if, at least at the moment, you fancy some cereal, have it...
Take it easy on yourself. You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

Get the bed made up
Bed is made, and bacon and egg are frying as we speak (seriously, they are!!)
I dont know about the withdrawal, cause, like I said, I didnt do atkins completely to the book. It MAY be worth trying it my way? But then Im sure someone will be along in a bit to help you better than I can!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

Hi Aurora, I heard you can have a cup of biullion (stock cube in hot water I think) because you may be lacking potassium, hence the achy legs and headaches. This replaces essential salts anyway, and you can have a cup every few hours til you start to feel better. Hope this helps you feel better and save your diet!;)0

aurora are u drinking enough water?? that could be the reason for the headaches etc, i still have one but i think its left over from this lurgy could it be the same for u? or could it be stress with all thats happened?
how about making yourself some soup or make some instant bread and have some toast... nuts arent really for induction (nor are berries) but if they stop u from ruining everything then have them... as vik said u have a lot going on right now so try and relax and dont beat yourself up
unfortunately if u do carb splurge then when u stop eating them again then yes u will have to go thru withdrawal again sorry
look after yourself hun, have a bath and a coffee

AB - are you taking supplements?
I feel like you do if I don't take mine (currently 10 per day)0 -
Second vote here for the supplement advice. I take 1 x Vit D (Ted's fault, lol) and 1 x Multivit tab. If I dont...I feel it.
Tink what the heck are you taking?Herman - MP for all!0 -
I don't take any
When I'm fasting, I have fortified soya milk (if not then I've got a pot of multivits), but I don't "feel it" as long as I'm still eating...

2 psyllium husk capsules per day - to avoid constipation
2 fish oil capsules (1000mg each) - because it's just good for you
2 chromium tablets - helps to stabilise blood sugar and convert fat (not muscle) to energy
1 Q10 (100mg) - to make me feel more awake
1 multivit without iron (very important) - to cover deficiencies while not eating fruit
1 Vitamin b tablet - not sure why but the IPD says i must.
1 high strength vitamin c - to stave off winter colds
