    Hi everyone

Aurora - that looks fantastic - I'll def give it a go.
Shykins - hope the chaos at home has calmed down.

My First Oopsies - I had my first attempt at oopsies last night, sort of successful:rolleyes: . I put them on my my new silicon mat.....but didn't grease it - should I have? They were kinda stuck to it and cos they are so delicate I couldn't get them off. How do peeps get them out of the pan? Also I took them out after 20 mins and the seemed v soft inside so I put them back in. They are v flat and I don't think I could slice them like a bread roll - I had to use 2 to make a sandwich.

Brunch - 2 oopsies sandwiched with ham and tomatoe (one BIG one hee hee)
Dinner - port rack joint with veggies and gravy
snacks - cream cheese wrapped in lettuce and some chilli almonds

I'm just trying various recipes until I hit on something that I really like - you don't know until you try it, and I'm practising my cooking skills:rotfl:

I use 2 per sandwich or burger too ;)

You have to wait till they are completely cold before trying to get them off the paper.

I use lakeland baking paper which is superb.

Thanks Tink - how can you tell when they are done tho? I put them back in the oven cos they seemed soft inside but now I'm thinking they might have firmed up anyway. In the end they were in the oven for about 30 mins at 170degrees - too long?

i do mine for about 25 mins - i like them squidgy in the middle.

they're usually nice and brown on top and puffy (and then sink while cooling)

By the way, I had smoked peppered mackeral for tea last night, just fancied some fish....as soon as I opened the packet my DD starting heaving so I ended up plugging the Baby George into an extension lead and cooking them out in the freezing garden at 8pm last night....bit cold and dark for a BBQ:rotfl:

    morning all. brrrrr

my oopsies usually take about 15-20 mins but it prob depends on how thick they are, mine usually come off the silicone fine i use a egg flip to get them off then i leave them to dry out on the counter til the next day as they are too soft for me

ewww smoked mackerel i would off been heaving too lol... i bet it was cold out there last night judging by the ice this morning!!!

avstar wasnt my house the chaos was in a friends house who is splitting with her hub, i was trying to mediate but boy was it stressy (not surprising i spose)

well hubby has promised me a nice big fried brekkie this morning which i cant wait for,.. didnt give into the choc urges last night so feeling quite proud of myself considering hormones etc :)

  • Ok, I'm struggling.

I have zero energy to the point that my legs are aching at rest, no appetite and am struggling to eat what I'm supposed to.

    Help!!

I've had scrambled eggs (yuk) and berries today.

I'm craving cereal but don't want to ruin whatever withdrawal I've already achieved - and don't want those headaches again!

    What should I do?
    de do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar ;)
