  • I'm going to do Dr Dalqegbcjsgcwvcwjbcw, like Ted.

I'm worried about bread and potatoes (part Irish) so need to make the substitutes :)

lots and lots and lots and lots of cauliflower for you then! use it for mash, rice, soup, and as normal cauliflower, plus thickening for soups. :D

    hi and welcome alias :D

aurora - like shykins says, stick with the basics, at least at first while you're getting used to the regime. Then you can suss out what you like and dislike :)

That nut bread sounds nice. Have you got a link for it?:D

Hi Newish - this is the link to the nutbread
    http://www.cake-and-biscuit-diet.com/Nutbread.aspx

It was my first attempt at separating eggs and I was v proud of my stiff peaks...so to speak lol! My cooking skills will def improve on this diet seeing as I'm having to cook most things rom scratch.

I think my headache isnt just due to caffeine withdrawal - def sore throat lurking....again .... feel like I've had cold after cold this winter  .

Well done everyone who was good over the festive period, and good luck everyone for the New Year.

well my omelette was particularly lovely as hubby cooked it. had a salad with some stilton for lunch but have to be honest although it was damn expensive stilton it tasted like cleaning fluid! ew, ew, ew going to stick to the value range next time..lol

saz i sympathise on struggling to read whilst depressed, but reading is my main vice in life (and wine and overeating..lol). i'm 3/4 way through an english degree though and when that gets too much i can't bear reading for pleasure. mind you today i threatened to throw the towel in and give it up during a row with hubby....

anyways glad to be back on track today though there is far too much choocolate in this house still for my liking......
