I've also (when in a hurry) tried just steaming it (without any water) in a microwave veg bag or a sealed plastic microwave container. It doesn't take very long. Probably is tastier slowly simmered in butter. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Low fat diets: Not fit for purpose
For 30 years we've been told to eat less of it. Yet there's no proof cutting down is good for us, says Jerome Burne
He goes on to mention Coconut Oil. Gary Taubes's brilliant book The Diet Delusion and the failure of the current guidance.
He concludes
The low-fat diet is simply not fit for purpose. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Talking about frying cabbage though I've been stir frying spring greens and left over cabbage for breakfast.
It's not traditional breakfast fare but actually with some bacon and bacon fat or coconut oil it's really great.

I'm a long-term low carber (have been for 3 years now) as I am also a type 1 diabetic and find it really helps me have good control however I have gained a bit of weight recently and am about 8lbs over my normal/target weight! Would ideally like to drop it for xmas though about 5lbs would be more realistic for now!
Going to do induction for 2 weeks as of tomorrow, will be posting on here regularly I reckon, looking forward to swapping some tips!
