What I feel is really naughty is a bowl of strawberries or raspberries or blackcurrants with lots of lovely double cream. It's so nice being able to make a pig of yourself without feeling any guilt whatsoever, after all it's slimming and it's on the eating plan.

    .
I have just returned from Cornwall where we found the most amazing cream tea place. Bucket of cream home made strawberry jam and just out of the oven scones. Yes certain elements of that lot are not low carb which is why I am now joining you lot for a few days to lose half a stone:D
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

Welcome to the carb-dodgers' thread!:) I'm off to cornwall soon myself and I was saying before, just how I'm going to avoid the scones, jam, cornish pasties, etc etc is anyone's guess! lol

I bet you'll lose that half a stone in no time.

Sod the diet if you are going to Cornwall. You only live once. Go to the national trust cafe at Bedruthan steps and have a cream tea. They are very good and even better knowing you are supporting a charity:rotfl: If you feel really guilty walk down to the beach all those steps are a killer on the way back.
Fantastc Pasty maker in Hale though cant remember name. Ask someone cornish.
The more you think about not having something the more it plays on your willpower so the more you want it. You are on holiday give in enjoy yourself full stop. That is what life is for.

Evening all  I'm not long in, but I'm pleased to say that the builder won't be passing through my mincer because the place is looking vaguely habitable now lol

Just about to prepare dinner - i'm starving - steak and salad followed by strawberries and double cream:D
