When I make chilli I divide it into two pans and add kidney beans to one and not to the other.I dont eat Kidney Beans because they are high carb but the kids love em

Hubbys birthday today so I'm cake baking this afternoon and that also means none for me:o Its birthdays and special occasions that are the worst for me as I really feel deprived when I cant have a slice of the cake but hey worth it in the end. When I get to my target weight I will be having the piece of cake and I'll be thinner so win win I say:rotfl:

Having lunch at Pizza Express with my DDs today. First time I've been faced with real temptation . I shall have a main course salad and nothing else...

    Wish me luck...

Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

Thanks very much for those recipes, Tink. I shall try broccoli souffle. Can't get hold of the IPD cookbook for love nor money. It's even OOS at the publisher. The paperback is out in the new year, so I guess they're not printing any more of the hardback.

I was so good at my girly lunch at Pizza Express yesterday. :p Instead of my usual American Hot, I had the Nostrana salad, and the waiter very kindly offered to substitute something else for the potatoes in it - so I had goat's cheese. Very very yummy. I thought they went a bit heavy on the green beans and red peppers, so I even left some of them! :A I took my own dressing too, as Pizza Express are remarkably coy when it comes to publishing the nutritional information of their food. They are 'working on this information' apparently.

It wasn't as hard as I thought to sit there and watch DDs eat bruschetta, pizza and - oh my God - banoffee pie and mascarpone. NOTHING can match the pain I felt serving my family M&S's Pain au Chocolat Bread & Butter Pudding (from the Dine In For £10 promo) on Saturday evening. I did lick the serving spoon though. :o Even that little taste was like heaven.

The blasted clocks going back! My dogs have in-built alarms and haven't realised that we're back on GMT, so are getting me up at 6.15 instead of 7.15 :(. I need to have words with them.

I haven't had any major blowouts, but have stalled for several weeks - obviously a few bad habits have crept in.

I'm going back to induction for 2 weeks to kickstart my further loss. I think my issues are:
    • too much dairy being consumed
    • decaff coffee (with cream) intake has increased
    • i'm not drinking enough water
    • exercise levels have slipped recently
    • have regularly (but unintentionally) skipped meals.

Have reaquainted myself with the rules, and hopefully sticking to them will let me lose another stone or so by christmas ;)
