Right I need some advice cos I'm in a quandry.

My scales finally died yesterday and I bought some new ones. But the new scales weigh me at a stone heavier than the old ones did.I know that all scales weigh differently but have I lost the stone or were the other scales dodgy and I should accept that I havent lost the weight and adjust my weightloss appropriately?

I'm a little disheartened today as I've now got another flaming stone to lose before I hit my target which wont happen now till at least January:rolleyes:

Sazzy I hope the award ceremony goes well tonight and you obviously deserve it so relax and enjoy. Is Gilly going with you?

Oh and I'm intrigued now by Gillys news but I reckon its cos he's lost two stone in one week:rotfl:

Lesley, don't be disheartened. I don't care what the scales or BMI calculators say (damn wii fit) - I go by how I feel.

I haven't 'lost' for several weeks, but my clothes get looser by the day.

no saz u dont sound ungrateful at all, i would be mortified to be up in front of a load of people too... i sung to my hub at our wedding lord knows how i managed it but i concentrated on just him, maybe u could do something like that?... tell gilly we NEED to know!!!

ravy thats flippin horrid!!,, i would say that if your old scales were showing u going down then u did go down, its just the new ones weigh different.... just a thought but to check their accuracy could u weigh a few pounds of sugar (or something else u know the weight of??)

i havent lose in flippin ages (in fact i gained a few) but my clothes still feel the same so blaaah to scales!!!... oh my wii fit told me i lost and gained half a stone in half hour one day lolol, mind u i did move the board position

Don't adjust your weightloss - you have lost the weight! I'm sure you can see that from how clothes fit on you. Your old scales were underweighing you from start to finish.

If you check the book, the wii fit is only accurate to the nearest half stone ;)

:rotfl: I just didn't wanna say how much he'd lost in case I jinxed it and then I'd be in big trouble :rotfl:

Right guys, I'd best love you and leave you and make tracks for this [STRIKE]public humiliation[/STRIKE] awards dinner:o Everyone here's giving me stick! I'll report back tomorrow, once my heart rate has returned to vaguely near-normal levels lol.

Have a good evening everyone
