Saz, well done for getting through the evening! And I'm full of admiration that you left the potatoes Dauphinoise, of all things. :T
Shykins, lovely to hear of your shocking misbehaviour. Still, after what you've achieved, I think you deserve the odd indiscretion.
Daisy, I was a bad girl yesterday too...
My food yesterday:
B: sausages, mustard
L: green salad with bacon, hard-boiled egg and Caesar dressingsteak, Stilton sauce, asparagus ... and several glasses of wine
S: the odd lump of cheese
I put the steaks on the kitchen table, on some wadded-up kitchen paper, to dry a little before I cooked them. However, I turned my back for a few minutes and when I next looked - one had gone. One of my dogs, Alfie, was under the table in the living room, very happy with his unexpected snack. A bit of a trim, a wash under the tap and no one was any the wiser.(Actually, I had that one.)
Today's:
B: sausages, mustard
L: cheese and spring onion omelette, green salad1/2 pack of Waitrose chicken breasts in a mushroom, red wine and brandy sauce (4.8g carb), cauli mash, cabbage
S: lump of cheese
I love seeing what you are all eating. Can be easy to get stuck in a rut. I shall have to try making some oopsies, I think.
What do you people have when you get an Indian takeaway? Are we limited to dry meat (tikka/tandoori)? I can imagine the creamy sauces are full of flour.
How are your hens, Badger Lady?0 -
I have prawn balti - according to the IPD pretty much any potatoless curry is okay. I only buy the curry though, and I make my own low carb bhajis and cauli rice to go with.
Everyone I've made the bhajis for says they are better than the ones from the takeaway!!0 -

Tinkers, have you tried drinking hot water? I love warming my hands on it in this weather, and sipping it throughout the day. Mind you, I've never been keen on drinking things cold...
I did find a dodgy lemon languishing at the back of the fridge about an hour ago, so that's exactly what I've got now :beer:0 -
There's a new video of my hens here! http://www.flickr.com/photos/71579347@N00/2969473169/
The colder weather has dropped egg-production down to 1 a day. But considering I only eat every other day, that'll doMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Good Evening everyone:D
mmmm Toffee Banana Fritters mmmmmmmm drooling now:D
I dont know about anyone else but this cold weather is playing havoc with me as my body craves rib sticking carby food and it isnt getting any and I'm soooooo cold all the time.I've never suffered with the cold before I can only put it down to either losing weight or the lack of carbs in my body.
All this talk of curry has got me longing for one now.I might nip into Asda tomorrow and pick up a couple for Saturday night.I know I could make one but Saturday night is my treat night and its a no cook night
