Everyone I've made the bhajis for says they are better than the ones from the takeaway!!
Cauli rice? I usually have curries, spag bols etc.l over mixed veggies instead of the carb.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

Discussed at length on this thread.
It's grated cauliflower - as in a rice substitute!0 -
Don't think I shall lose any weight this week. I've been experimenting with quiche and cheesecake, and have probably overdone the almonds. Or it could be the wine last Tuesday. Daisy, I've cheated just twice in nearly 7 weeks - both times with (lots of) wine.
:o:o I'm glad there's two of us in the Lush Club.
Your hens look lovely, BadgerLady. Took me a while to view the video properly as my internet connection is bad at the moment. Have they been frightened by the fireworks? I'm hoping my OH can find time soon to build our henhouse, as my local farm shop has stopped doing organic eggs. The producer who supplies them also supplies supermarkets, and they have driven his price down so much that he now has to give them normal feed instead of organic. Had a lovely long anti-supermarket rant with the lady at the till.
Tinkerbell, you've supplied so many fabulous recipes. Are they all from the IPD cookbook? I'm desperate to get my hands on one, but the PB isn't out till Jan. Made a huge leek, bacon and cheese quiche yesterday and my OH (not a quiche man) ate half of it.
Banana toffee fritters... oh my GOD - yum!!!
Talking of Indian, I've emailed my local one to ask them if there's any flour or sugar in the Butter Chicken, Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Masala (yes, I know - my tastes in Indian food don't exactly run to the sophisticated). I haven't had a reply yet, but live in hope.

Not all, no. Some are (bhajis, cauliflower soup, garlic bread, cauliflower souffle). Some are from a low carb veggie cookbook by Rose Elliot (quiche, cheesecake, egg custard). Others are ones I've adapted from full carb recipes (microwave chocolate sponge etc).
My OH actually prefers almond pastry to normal pastry now :beer:0
