    Wave :hello:

Sticks head round door while trying laboriously to climb back on perch!!!!

    wheezes slightly lol!!!!

Have huge brekkie of low carb sausage, bacon, half tomato, mushrooms and an egg done in Remoska.

Had a couple of rashers of bacon with mushrooms and an egg as late lunch and might have chicken with a little onion, mushrooms and green beans tonight.

Having a little milk in coffee and trying not to nibble at stuff as I know I am not really hungry and if I keep to low carb I will not be hungry the way I used to be.

Hi Elona! Missed ya hun :)

Yeah this is perch is a long way up isn't it? Especially for someone like me with short legs:D

We're having chicken tonight too... I feel a song coming on lol. Did it in the slow cooker. I've called it Bang Bang Chicken on account of the fact that it's rather, erm, robustly flavoured!:o :rotfl:

    Have a good evening everyone!

    hello :)

    daisy checking in -:

brekkie - slice of lc toast and peanut butter
lunch - middle rasher of bacon fried egg and peice of lc toast
dinner - spaghetti bolognaise made with courgette spaghetti and parmesan

snacked on - cheese pate ham and a cracker whilst i was making the packed lunches
    black tea again today
have made hubby some raspberries and SF jelly - may have a smidge

something that would be really interesting for me would be if anyone else fancies logging what they are eating - i do understand if no one else wants to or cant be bothered to
just think it could be useful for me and interesting to boot

Well, I love talking about food :D so here's mine for today:

B: grilled streaky bacon, poached egg, grilled tomato
L: green salad with feta, avocado, bacon and Waitrose Caesar dressing (v.l.c.)
D: feta, bacon and spinach omelette, green salad
S: lump of M&S Cornish Cruncher with Balsamic Onion cheese (heaven)

Water and 3 cans of DC :o

I don't normally eat this much feta and bacon, but once I open the packet, I eat till they're gone - otherwise they end up out of date.

hilary when u see the carb count on a packet that is english that IS the net carb count.. when u go to american sites etc u have to deduct the fibre from the carbs for the net carb count, hence u see a difference when u look online and on yr packets

just go by what it says on the packets assuming u are buying english stuff lol

Ah the hazard of reading an American book lol. Thanks for that.

Weighed myself today and lost 3lb since Friday, but doubt if its fat, more likely dehydrated from lack of vodka and coke.

Sooo glad I bought a remoska weeks ago as it makes it so much easier to put everything in and let it cook and its ideal for low carb.

just need to find some recipes for ok desserts as OH already slipping back on the apples.

    Is it only me?
I am brilliant doing low carb for a couple of weeks and then I have a stupid blowout.
For example I have been following Atkins for 10 days and then last night for no reason ate two Cadburys caramel bars.
I have got up this morning disgusted with myself and am going to forget about it and resume Atkins.
The stupid thing is I feel so much better on Atkins. Damn these chocolate addictions.
I go to the gym regularly and have more energy following this way of eating.
Am currently following the BodyforLife exercise plan but not their suggested diet.

Each Cadbury Dairy milk Caramel bar contain Carbohydrate 30.5g So 2 bar= 61g carbs.
Chocolate is another of my vices but I keep a store of lidl's high 74% cocoa content bars. These have 33 carbs per 100g bar so if I limit myself to 2 squares that's just 3.3g and because it is strong dark chocolate it is more satisfying and I've never been tempted to eat a whole bar in one go let alone eat 2 whole bars in one night.
